That's indeed a very asshole-ish philosophy. Personally, I try to be as nice as possible exactly because I don't know the person I'm talking to. Even when I strongly disagree with someone's opinion and it seems to me like they're just picking a fight, I keep in mind that that might not be true because I don't know them. Plus, I'm a politeness freak, so that might have something to do with it.
Although I'm not the type of person who has a high BS tolerance and I do give people a piece of my mind when it really comes down to it.

Dunno if you've seen it, but there's one RPG clip on youtube where a character greets another one with something along the lines of "You undead cocksucking bitch". I can't express how much that put me off.

I just want to whine about how I died 20 minutes into Lucadia. I kind of like how there weren't any random encounters, but those monsters were just too quick for me. I ended up fighting every monster on every map and ran out of MP and most of my healing items right before the boss battle. It was a rather pointless struggle, really. I healed and attacked but attacks deal 30 damage (the girl's dealing 0) while spells deal something like 125 damage. So I died. Whiiiiiiiiiiiine.
Oh and it bugs me how after I've cleared a map of monsters they reappear if you enter the cooking or the crafting menus.
