Well this is how FF games are it's very hard to maintain a real discussion about them.

A remainder this is a discussion about what elements was interesting to you in FF8, this is a topic for people who liked FF8 (no hater and no super fan), so that they have clear judgement. other FF games can be discussed only if you want to use it against or in support of your discussion for FF8.

there is two part in how you see the game, first as a player you remember what element/part you liked/(or maybe disliked) about FF8, then if you want you can add your view as a developer in that element/part. I will try to make a list soon so in the end we have some useful information. I was trying to gather information with the poll but it's information isn't very useful (and the options are not good at all :S sorry).

Hmm Guys, also giving mind blowing theories is nice and all, reproducing the same thing is almost impossible, I mean who will start to make theory for our game? even FF8 was lucky. story (so called) mistake become theories because people didn't like how FF8 story was and Square don't say anything to improve FF8 popularity.

also kory_toombs do you also use the same method to draw magic? seriously no one with sane mind would try to draw 100 scan (why scan?) and fire with only 1 character, he will draw a little then junction them and then he will draw again in next fight. Also he didn't even used the game options, memory setting is there for a reason but he intentionally didn't used it. he intentionally didn't used questi (better magic stats and better draw) he didn't even junction anything to make the draw system more ridicules. I can go on but it's enough.

I know you hate the FF8 but showing video's that tried to hid such a simple facts and strategies is not a good for discussion. Anyway we are not here to bash FF8 or say it was great from a hater perspective try to be fair thanks.
