Under World (Land of the Dead)
This was honestly very unexpected to hear. That people are actually enjoying this... Hahaha, cool though! I'm glad you're enjoying the story. I got criticized to hell back when I created the game, about the story, and since then I've been trying to make more in-depth, original stories. I was never too confident in this game's story, but I'm really glad you're engaged in it. I mean, I actually really enjoy the emotion I put into it, but I know how cliche' some people would probably say it is...
And yeah, it would probably be a good idea to go back and fix a lot of things, or remake it even, but meh. I just wanna keep it as the imperfect "Under World 1", and whoever can beat it, wow...props! Haha. I just wanna move forward in my games, which is exactly what I'm doing. Leave the past in the past, and embrace the future!
I'm currently working on Under World 4 at the moment...and its turning out to be the most AMAZING project ever. I'm actually decently far. Your character is Daron, from Under World 2 again. You play his character as a demon and you live in the Under World, in a giant city called "Logic". And there will be TONS of exploration, in the actual underworld. The battles are even better.
Anyways, thanks for the support guys! :)

REALLY cool item-skill and totally original battle systems! quite hard but fun!
Glad you're enjoying! And yes, I warned everyone that this game was friggin' hard. Haha. Good luck with it.

I am definitely aware of the map errors, and how "n00b" this map must look to most of you. But this was 6 years ago I made this game, just FYI. And although the maps might not be great, or even good...the fun comes in the gameplay.

Wow, I just tried this out for a few minutes and I'm really impressed! I haven't played many RM games with an ABS implemented, but of the ones I have, this is my favorite by far! Still difficult, but quite addictive. Very glad you uploaded this, and I'll be sure to be playing it for a while!
Glad you're enjoying it! I'm actually rather glad I uploaded the first game of the series too. It's actually not a terrible game, though I know there are MANY improvements I could have made. But that was seriously like 6 years ago, at least. Sooo, I think I can forgive myself for that. Haha

It does make a sound, ok i'll try that thanks. i'll go further in the game and tell you how i like it, maybe just "too hard"(condidering your description!)? hope not, anyways, thanks for the help and "à bientôt"!
Awesome! Good luck! And actually, just FYI. The first chapters are actually pretty hard, then it simmers down a little bit, because you start upgrading your skills. I just realized this because I'm playing through it now, myself. Ha, it's been a while, actually. So yeah, if you can get through the first two chapters, it gets a tad less frustrating, I'll just say.

i 'm maybe not doing it right but the action key to attack does not seem to work so i can't get very far in the game ...? Looks neat though, and i'd like to go further, if any help is available its welcome! (no item is selected),thanks.
When you hit "spacebar" or "enter", do you hear a sound? If you do, the attack is working, actually. When you hit the button, you will gain a boost of speed, allowing you to slice forward into any enemies nearby. Or...to simply just navigate to places quicker. You need to press the direction that you want to slice, while hitting the attack button to see a result. If you've played UW2 and UW3, you'll understand how the battle system works a little better in this game.
Anyways, if you are hitting the attack button, and not even hearing a sound, that means the game is effed up, which...I'm not really sure how it could get that way since it has always worked for me just fine. If that's the case, maybe try to start the game over.
Go and play Under World 1 now.

Yeah, totally wasn't trying to get on your ass or anything, cause' I agree that it's petty to worry about blogs since the rate at which they rotate out is pretty fast.
But recently people have had their panties in a twist over "front page" material and didn't want to see this turn into one of those discussions.
Anywho, goodluck with your projects man. :)
Thanks dude, and yeah its probably best I deleted it. People love to bitch around here, for sure...which is why I just deleted the other one.
Cheers man!
What's the Point?
author=Zeronamous
Lately, I've been wondering, what's the point in mastering a program like RPG Maker 2003, and creating some games with it?
To me, there really doesn't seem to be one. Every time I ask myself what the point is of me pouring hours on end into some specialized software, to make a game, that wouldn't stick out any more than anyone else on this entire site, I keep coming to the conclusion that there isn't a point, and it's a genuine waste of time.
So, why do you guys do it?
I mostly do it for myself. I have a 4 year old kid who started getting addicted to playing my latest project. When he gets old enough to really get into my games, he's gonna think it's the coolest thing in the world, what I've done. It's just cool to have all this art that I make and someday when I'm much older, I'll look back at everything I've created and just SMILE. I'll be replaying my Under World games until the day I die, because it's simple...I'm just damn proud of what I do.
You should be as well!

Was two blogs necessary that say the same thing?
It's cool though if you weren't aware that these blogs get posted on the front page.
Otherwise, having two twin blogs on two different games is kinda odd. :\
Ah, sorry about that... Didn't think it would be a big deal seeing as how the blogs cycle through pretty quickly. All I wanted was to alert all those who are subscribed to Under World 1 and 2. Didn't mean it to be like "spam" or anything.
A lot of people who have played Under World 2 and 3 have been curious about the first one and I'm just trying to alert those who enjoy my games.
