Olympic Luge Accident
This was a 21 year old who died the day before the olympic opening. He died due to a safety issue in the course, and because of such, fell short of achieving his dream.
This isn't a sprained ankle. An athlete died because Canada fucked up.
In other news, the luge track specialists are blaming the death entirely on the athlete, claiming that he messed up the turn, and that there are no deficiencies in the track (Which I think is a load of BS). The turn wall was raised, and the track is re-opening.

During olypic luge training today, a Georgian named Nodar Kumaritashvili lost control while making a turn at speeds greater than 145 KPH (90 MPH), flew off of the track, and crashed into a steel beam. The Olympian suffered major injury, and after being airlifted to a hospital, died.
This speed is supposedly the fastest speed in the sport of luge, and many are now deeming the track unsafe.
Why was there uncovered steel beems right next to the track, and why are the Olympians traveling this fast?
Fuck Canada, thanks for dropping the ball already. In my province, no less.
You can browse around for a video, there was one on the news, but Youtube has blocked the man's name, and deleted all of the videos, so it is becoming increasingly harder to find.
EDIT: Apparently his name is unblocked now. I found a video, but the quality is aweful.

In no way was i trying to portray my version better than tardis', and I'm sorry if it came off that way. The cowbell was still relevant, as it is still the same idea. The fact that it is a common joke doesn't change that someone came and edited a piece of art and made a mockery of it. If you still believe so, imagine if I had made the boat shooping the mountains, or simply drew penises all over the picture. People do this as a joke /all/ the time, does this mean tardis would be ok with it?

To say that you are not overreacting is a little bit ridiculous. The word defined by the free online dictionary being "To react with unnecessary or inappropriate force, emotional display, or violence."
Take it easy, and learn to argue in a calm state. This is the internet. And please, take more photos.

:P that's actuallya littlepretty offensive. i did not say you could use my photo. my photography is not stock photography, it's art. think of it this way- if you spent a long time drawing something, then i came along with a big red sharpie and drew something else on top of your completed drawing, how would you feel?
i'm don't want to devolve this into name-calling and whatnot, but let me just say this makes you look like an asshole.
To be honest tardis, I feel you are greatly overreacting to the situation. Most of the people who post such topics here do so for fun, and do not mind anyone making a mockery of their work (if in good taste). I often photoshop images which I find rather neat/creative, and in all my time of doing it, no one has ever told me 'This is my image, fuck off'.
The whole 'Red sharpie' thing was rather exaggerated, and in my opinion, made you look like an asshole. I took an image, and did something with it which I thought looked neat. I posted it simply for the sake of fun, and you compare it to someone coloring all over a piece of art with a sharpie. Thanks.
If you are asking how I would feel in this situation, I really wouldn't mind. If I did, I would place something in the first post about it, or I would never post it at all. As an example, I recently released a small techno song here, and at another community. A member took this song, and claimed it 'needed more cowbell'. They edited the entire song, but I laughed my ass off. I didn't care at all (I uploaded the song here)
So please, add something to your posts claiming that this is /your/ art, and that you do not want others editing it. Otherwise, stop talking about how much of a disrespectful asshole I am for enjoying your image.
