[MAFIA] Prisoner's Dilemma. Game Over

Independents in a game with that starting mechanic (deciding whether you have a power or not) seems really out of place. I doubt there are any independents in this game.

That is a very interesting role Odd, that role seems more like an independent one rather than a town one.
Just to make sure I fully understand, I went back and re-read the rules:
If an Independent successfully survives and satisfies their win condition, they Win!

So if we lynch the next person and they turn out to be scum, would have mean odd wins if he is independent and we therefore would lose?

That's the copy-pasted rules. It says in the main rules that there are 3 scum and 10 town.

Also, in previous games, as far as I remember, most independant win conditions are just like "survive till the end". Usually, town can win with independants.

For the record, though, I'm a town, not an independent.

[MAFIA] Prisoner's Dilemma. Game Over

I guess if I had the idea of claiming detective, it would've been Day 2 I would have done so. But, since I'm assuming there is a detective in the game, I'd probably be counterclaimed and killed as scum, which is ultimately not good for town.

[MAFIA] Prisoner's Dilemma. Game Over

I manually used it Day 1 and 2, in the stupidest play I could've ever done. I'm pretty sure both times I wasn't targeted by anything, so Ivory was probably the one targeted Night 1.

My wording was pretty bad, yeah. I was worried about mentioning it in the case it sounded like a mafia role, but... I guess not mentioning it looks just as bad.

[MAFIA] Prisoner's Dilemma. Game Over

Yeah, but it didn't tell me if I actually got hit by anything.

Essentially, while I do have a power role, I've exhausted all of it.

[MAFIA] Prisoner's Dilemma. Game Over

It seemed like a powerful role, just not a very smart user of said role.

[MAFIA] Prisoner's Dilemma. Game Over

It was "two-shot survivor". Essentially, I could make it so that even if I was targeted for a night, I could stop the effects of whatever targeted me. Unfortunately, I ended up using both shots of it night 1 and 2, so at this point I'm just vanilla town.
I was worried about bringing it up in the case that it (1) seemed like a mafia role (seeing as it can stop the effects of other town alongside mafia), and (2) looked like what Psy did with his last-minute rolecop claim.

In hindsight, I could've probably prevented a nightkill or something by somehow getting scum to target me, but I guess that doesn't really work? Either way, it said "Your action has succeeded" or something like that, but I don't really know if I was targeted for anything.

[MAFIA] Prisoner's Dilemma. Game Over

Um, I doubt this really confirms me as town or.anything, but literally all of you ignored me saying the following after Tale asked if I had claimed any roles.

But, at this point, I'm basically just vanilla town, so I guess it doesn't matter if I mention it or not anymore.

In this case, I never said I didn't have a power role, just that I was basically vanilla town at that point...?

Could someone explain to me what busing means? Excuse me for being new

It's basically the concept of "throwing someone under a bus". So, in this case, scum purposely implicating other scum as scum in order to appear as not-scum.

Pretty sure that's right?
