Why the pictures?

The requirement for pictures is in place specifically to keep out people like you. If you want a site that doesn't care what you submit, try rpgrevolution. Around here, quality and effort count for something.

Probably because most people (including me) don't even BOTHER reading, and just go straight to the pictures to see if it looks good.
There's not wrong with using PrntScrn to take screenshots, either. I just use that button for a random scene and there I go. Nothing to big. *shrug*
Pictures make everything pretty instead of a big wall of text or something. D=

No, I mean, if so, go ahead. That's hella awesome. The fact that an RPG Maker game inspired you that much is a great testament to its creator, and to the medium. I'm just surprised as hell.
Regarding your original question, if the original game uses that style of map, and you want your game to feel like a fan spinoff of it, then I think you should use that same style of map. It is certainly unique and evocative, though I wonder how fast I'd get tired of it.

Why do events not move sometimes?
Well, in my LoZ fangame, I'm trying to get Light Link to jump and try and stop Zelda from leaving, but all that happens is she turns around after moving 1 step(the amount of steps needed here) and asks him if he wants to come with her, I even applied a wait command so when he jumps, she would turn around and the text would start after the jump, but he doesn't do anything! I'm using 2003, and I'm guessing it's the thing that's blocking him, but shouldn't he just jump over it? Otherwise your XP problem, it may be other events that also move around because of events, running into eachother, make you you always set to if the character runs into something, or can't move somewhere, to just ignore, I've used XP before and seen alot of game reviews that were like this, just try if you haven't.
Rmk2k3 Battle Background wont change
Is this in battle or out-of-battle, and out-of-battle meaning after this battle, the next battle after this will have a differant background. And if that's not it, take a look at where the character/event is standing, and look in the tileset's terrain area, and if it's something that doesn't make sense and stuff, then fix it and see if it works, and if that doesn't work, check the map settings of where the event is. Those could all be factors of what could be happening. And if your using windows 7, your screwed...

You all know how boring and bad spaces in maps can be, well, though it's definetly not a perfect example at all, take my Fire Woman game, (that has already been once denined, please approve soon!) the only good area in the game I guess, is the forest world. But it doesn't have too little or much, but if I took out all of the trees and replaced it with something that makes it seem like an invisible maze, would you still like it? Here's a better example of space in maps, go to the wiki of my favorite 2003 game to see, here's a link: Yume Nikki Wiki: Maps You see how famous and great that game is, this is what I like to call, treasure hunting style, you go around looking for items in a barren area that is yet still interesting to look at!

Who likes this idea or not, and if you have any suggestions than please do, I tried to make the game once, need more experience. How do you feel about this, and why?

You're going to have a really tough time trying to make any sort of custom system without a solid knowledge of RPGmaker as well as variables and coordinates. I recommend starting with simple things, like simple uses of variables (number of times you've talked to someone, time of day, etc) and then moving on to more complicated ABS-like commands such as Memorize Hero Location. This all takes a long time and it's not something you'll pick up over night. There are some tutorials that can help (http://rpgmaker.net/tutorials/63/) but what you're talking about would be fairly hard without advanced knowledge, even with all the tutorials in the world. If someone were to write such a specific tutorial, they might as well make your battle system for you.

Well I started with VX a few years ago, when I was about 7 I think, and I started 2003 around 10 or something like that. I'm not gonna pay you for RM eventing, and I was trying to teach myself really, I got so close! But it ended up working best as magic, and I also need to learn variable damage and other stuff like that. And I know I'm not going to learn it overnight, I just don't want a boring game that does the same stuff over and over again! How would you like a game that was pretty much just, walk through here, do a side view battle, go here, do another battle, have a cutscene, you know, the old shit with a storyline thrown in. VX and XP were pretty much 2000 with magor differences, because of the battle system. I could take a look at a few of those tutorials again, but I couldn't find a gunner system, and I'm about ready to give up, I'll try again.

Why the pictures?
I didn't know where else this would go, so I put it here,anyways, what's with the pictures? Why can't you just use description and name, and have pictures optional. Because some people(like me)can't get good screenshots, I seriously don't know how, I usually use the PARTSCROLLSYSTEMREQUIRMENTS button(prtscsysrq) and paint to make screen shots. Do we actually need screenshots? We need good quality, but I think not many people have that kind of stuff.
