I'm trying to remember the name of a game. Can someone help?
It is really similar in concept, but it's not the game i'm trying to remember. The title screen had a scenery, or some character, where you could see the sky, i think.
I used to put some words on google like "rpg npc daily routine" and it would show up, but i don't remember the exact words that i used, so i can't find it anymore.

It's an rpgmaker game with npc schedule, day night cycle and all of that.
It uses the base sprites, i believe. And i think that it had a calendar system with seasons, but i'm not sure. It was made with XP or MV, but i'm also not really sure... This is the best description that i can give, because i can't remember anything more.
I've looked the list so many times, and still coudn't find it...
I remember that the title screen was kind generic and ugly, but it praised itself for being an ambitious game.
Someone has any idea what game it may be?

PS I've downloaded it onto a Macbook
You need to run the rpg_rt.exe for it to work, but i don't know how it would work on a macbook.

Hello. Thanks for making this. I've always wanted to play through it. Having alot of fun with it. Hopefully your still around because I got a question.
Is there something I'm missing with the fight against ??? In chp 3? They always kill me in one hit. I havnt came across any kind of upgrades so I'm not sure.
Also when you lose this fight, the game bugs out. It let's you walk around but you cant exit the room. When you touch the square at the top it retriggers the previous cutscene and puts you back in the fight, but since your dead, you auto lose.
Hi. I'm glad that you're enjoying it. I believe that you're talking about the first fight against Elfe. She's overpowered in this fight, so the player really can't win against her. After being defeated, it triggers the next cutscene. It works fine on the pc, i believe, but it may have some bug that do not trigger the cutscene, if you're playing on EasyRPG on android.

This looks really good. Getting some Animal Crossing flashbacks.
haha, the fishing mini-game really was an idea that came from playing some Animal Crossing. It's not as in-depth, but i think that is nice to have the choice to fish if one feels like it. And the fish caught can be sold at any store.

Dude, you need to give serious thought to the balance of this game...
I get what you're saying. This game sure could be improved, but sadly i don't have the time to fix it.
Still, your criticism will be taken into account for the other game that i'm working on right now. You make really good points in here, and i'll keep those in mind, so thank you for taking the time to look into it.
Similar Mountains
Oh, yeah. It's called "The World Needs You". I'm probably going to change the name later. At the moment, i'm working on npcs schedules and side-stories, to make a believable day-night cycle, trying to give it that "small town" feel.
I hope to have it finished by the end of the year, if everything goes right.

I've played this title back in winter but the overall feeling of Similiar Mountains already feels nostalgic to me. I really liked the dialogues and the soundtrack aswell.
This game deserves more attention!
Thank you for playing it, and for the nice words.
I'm actually making a pseudo-sequel to it, but putting much more effort in everything, like mechanics and story. It will take-me a while to finish, but you could take a look at it, if you feel like it.
Mystery Falls - Director's Cut Review
Hey, thanks for taking the time to play it and make a review.
I actually had a limited time to make this game, as it was a project for college, so most of the ideas that i implemented may seem unpolished at some parts.
I agree with your points, and i'll try to fix those flaws in my next game, so the feedback is really appreciated ;-)
