Okay...I'll add something.

Been working on making some colored flags these get replaced by houses, hotels, etc when you finally break down and buy some.
And...this player is screwed, no question about it! ;D
(Almost done Part 2! Trying to get er done by the weekend) ;D
EDIT: Done all the property cards! Here's one:

Of course, there isn't enough room to add building information, so I'll have a seperate screen (build command) tell you how much you need to buy a place, and how much the poor sucker needs to pay when he lands on it.
:)

Am I Next To Go? :o

NEW YORK, July 24 (Reuters) - Toy maker Hasbro Inc (HAS.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Thursday it filed a suit against the creators of the online game Scrabulous, saying it infringes on Hasbro's Scrabble intellectual property rights.
The suit, filed in the Southern District of New York, names Scrabulous creators the brothers Rajat Agarwalla and Jayant Agarwalla, and RJ Softwares as the defendants, Hasbro said.
RJ Softwares, an IT solutions provider, cites its hand in the launch of Scrabulous on its Web site.
Hasbro, the world's No. 2 toy company, also said it sent a notice to Facebook, the social networking site that hosts the Scrabulous game, requesting they remove the application in the United States and Canada as soon as possible.
Facebook could not be reached immediately for comment. An e-mail sent to Scrabulous was not answered immediately.
Hasbro owns the rights to Scrabble in North America, a spokesman confirmed, while rival Mattel Inc (MAT.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) owns the rights to the popular board game in the rest of world.
Hasbro had sent a note to Facebook earlier this year asking it to remove the Scrabulous application, and decided to file a suit against Scrabulous' creators after launching a legitimate Scrabble version on the social networking site earlier this month, a spokesman said.
"We view the Scrabulous application as clear and blatant infringement of our Scrabble intellectual property, and we are pursuing this legal action in accordance with the interests of our shareholders, and the integrity of the Scrabble brand," Hasbro's General Counsel Barry Nagler said in a statement.
Scrabulous was launched in July 2006, according to its Web site.
I came across this article when my mother told me about it and thought I should read it, knowing full well that I'm following in almost similar footsteps with my Monopoly game.
This has started another battle between the games, although I'm not fully sure what Scrabulous did to get sued but here is where probably the main thing lies...they mention nothing about Hasbro pitching the orginal idea in the first place.
So does this mean I'm next? Although there are many reasons to say this is true and I could be held accountable for my actions...and even face major fines. There are others to suggest that it won't happen.
WHY NOT:
* 1.) In the opening movie I have the logos of both companies Hasbro & Parker Bros mentioned as collbrators. Pitching to people that these were the original creators, also on the threads and RM network in my summary pages, I mention these two again.
* 2.) No where is Mr. Monopoly found, although the name is being used...a different character is the mascot for this game. As this is why I wanted to go with a anime like approach.
* 3.) The music isn't theirs, so is the sound effects, some of the graphics is not their's.
* 4.) Unlike Scrabulous this game won't reach the record amount of people that they received. It is unknown how well it will actually do...ranging from maybe only a few hundred downloads
* 5.) Although the properties and character names remain...the board is completely different...no sign of the cop image, jail guy...tokens like the hat are different and replaced withh sprites.
* 6.) I'm not making any money off this game
Now that I have presented my case, say that in the end...that doesn't matter, Hasbro gives me 7 days to take it down or something...I have only this to say:
It's not fair that people can make Barkley games with an actual character in real life who didn't even mention the game...or people that make remakes on Final Fantasy, Breath Of Fire and yeah even my old Star Ocean: Shadows Of Zelnack, why didn't Tri-Ace go for my throat back then?
Although I'm not taking this as something to be feared and we need to shut this game down, because that's just BS. I will continue to make this game and finish it. (hopefully on time) Hasbro will probably treat it as a fan game...and nothing more.
So what's your take on this?

The Gift of Music
Hummm...I mostly buy my music now on Legalsounds because each song is soooooo damn cheap! And not a lot of people have heard of these artists. But...I may give this site a try, although I'm done with music collecting (at least...until the next project) it would be good to check it out.
EDIT: Hey Nick...I agree with Blitzen! This stuff is pretty darn good, I have it saved for future considerations. You deserve a cookie for your efforts. :P

In other news...GW's elite think that once again that the movie was fake and Monopoly doesn't exist. ::)
So...how does one go from fake to real? Do you need to be like 80% done? Or have the game released? I dunno.
Tax Man guns down Mr. Monopoly after he defeats the final boss. ;)

What are you listening to? [Music]
Including Wild Arms 4!? :D
Man...I love that series, and it's music. Sucks because I have a Wii, I no longer can buy more Wild Arms games. :'(
But...at least there is Tales Of Symphonia II. ;D
(Still listening to Jazz, it's the perfect mood setter to be making anything...)

Hey...does this mean that Monopoly will be the first RPG Maker game that DOESN'T have someone dying at the end? If so...wow...
I've already got my parents on board to test this baby, and some friends too! Watch me lose...and I'm the creator. ::)
