FRAPS doesn't like me either, my movies look a bit slow too, but yet...everything moves pretty damn good, so it's probably FRAPS. :P
What did you watch last?
Holly...hell... :o
Looks like the guy emulated it, but still...watching it looks like he's a master at the game that spends all his time at home. ;D

@ Hergezod - This is a great example of what map making should be! Where looking at it, it doesn't look confusing or too much full of clutter, and also very colorful! What project is this anyways? Or...are you just playing around trying to think of something?
@ Ashramaru - Okay I watched the entire video twice, and I must say...the music choice was awesome! It really pumps you up, and everything else was executed very well for a DBS. The only things that will probably bug some people (although you will probably adjust this in time) is the speed. (A bit too slow) And the quote before the battle, which is cool...but after a couple of battles the player might be a bit annoyed, I wouldn't mind if they said something before the battle, but it needs to be quick. Still a very wonderful job and you were right! 10x better in-game! ^^
Oh and Liberty I forgot about you, another nice forest map. ^^

How to fix/lower MP3 sizes
Hummmm...I use Audacity for my MP3 file downgrading...and it seems to still do a better job. I've turned a 5.5 MB file into a 1.7 MB one, although my bitrate is 64 and it still sounds good, I tried your method and best I could do was about 2.2 MB. So...damn, I was hoping this would make the song from 5.5 to like 1 MB or less. Oh well, maybe some songs just can't cut enough. (I managed to take your song and make it 2.3, best I could do...)
Game Design Discussion of the Week: Hey Assholes, Stop Giving Up.
Yes, this is exactly the type of pep talk this place needs! I too for one have been part of this for years.
For example, back in 2004, I lost my only year long project Heavenly Orb to a virus, and for many years have blamed my lack of finish on HO. Well you know what! HO was a shitty game back then, I've made way better stuff now then ever before, and I can't blame one project on the entire reason why I can't finish my stuff!
Now...I have a flash driver so there is no excuse, I'm sticking with shorter projects that take 3 months to do, and instead of adding all these crazy features...I add the basics, because you know what? That's good enough, sure people will tell you that it needed a lot more, but screw them! You have something done, and nobody can take that away.
So yeah, some days are bad ones...but there are many good days too! You can't blame things on others or what happened in the past, take it and just deal with it.

Don't update it as much as my old ME one...but it does have updates once and awhile.
Speaking of which...I'll update it Monday, have to explain about something.
