Actually would probably be better to throw Alice more off balance to give an effect that she's tumbling down the rabbit hole. :3
Gesture drawings are basically just really quick rough thumbnail drawings. Usually it's just to try and capture the "action" of a pose without being bogged down by details - helps keep you loose so your poses aren't stiff and things like that. Some of mine - several of those I went beyond gesture's (ninja turtle for example).
Anyway, really nice stuff. I really dig the Alice one up there.

Holy Jesus, Statistic, have you played Fathom?
Yeah it's awesome but a little short. Almost like he made a tech demo of a Cave Story engine with a test level but never got around to actually building the full game. He made another cool game where you just run and jump across rooftops - sounds really stupid but it's pretty addicting.
James. Cameron's. Avatar.
If I read the plot it sounds like some shitty fan fiction off Deviant Art - but at the same time the guy wrote the screenplay for my favorite movie of all time (Aliens). So on one hand I totally just want to pass on it, but I kind of expect it to be a whole lot better than it initially sounds. Titanic when it came out, sounded awful too - a boat sinking for 3 hours... ugh. But it turned out to be pretty good. I think if it was anyone else making it I probably would pass actually. Cameron is just one of the few guys out there that even though he gets giant budgets for special effects he doesn't seem to forget that the story is the most important part.
Release Something! IX: something about cats
It has 3 endings if I remember right. Quite a bit of optional things too I think - characters you can pick up and things like that. Been way too long since I played it to remember anything in detail though.

WIRESMan I remember taking that guy to task as I am a huge FF6 nerd. His game still never made any sense plot-wise.
I remember that over at GW - though I stumbled on it long after the fact. I found it funny on the grounds that FF6 is done in a steampunk style, and if you create a list of things that you do not include in steampunk, it's literally:
Things you should avoid in Steampunk Designs:
1.) Electrical wiring
It's like trying to make a fan sequel to Bioshock and giving Little Sisters iPods.

Flash/Flex would probably work. Flixel makes setting up a side-scrolling platformer pretty easy. I remember Flash Player 10 had some new peer to peer stuff, but I don't remember the details on how it works. Unity would also work, it's 3D though which might be a steep requirement for creating art assets. It's a little easier to use for making games than Flash is since that is what it was built for though. Always a trade off :/
Three Tile Rule Text
You could make the 3 tiles play off the 10 commandments rather than the entire bible. 3 stone tiles with rules on them. No idea what the actual rules should be.

Need more art topics <____<;
I saw the sketch for that on your blog awhile back. I painted some of it for fun but never did finish it. :/
Looks good though.
Looks good though.
Tile Art
Ahhhhhhh so many choices :'( (laptop decision)
You should be able to install Windows on it. I don't know the specifics as I've never owned a mac but it's really common. Google info on "bootcamp." Obviously you'll need a copy of Windows to install on it - but you'll have both OSX and Windows and can just choose which one you want to use at startup.
