Horrible news, my RPG....... Its gone!
Very sorry to hear this, that is super rough!
Gonna repeat what everyone else has said and say "back up your files!" Even just getting a USB stick or two and backing it up once a week could save you in the future.
Back when I was in my teens, I lost a project I had spent a year and a half on. It got hit with that infamous corrupt map tree thing that can happen to 2k and 2k3 games. I was devastated, but I eventually remade all of the lost content from scratch... only to never finish the game, the scope was too big and I had to abandon it several years later XD;;;

You know what? You guys are right! That name *is* too good to waste! :D I'll get back to this and get it done! :D
This sounds like a good approach. The only thing I want to add is drawing the monsters myself in a style that meshes better with the feeling I'm going for with this game.

I would like to see this completed and I'm totally ok with the quality as it is now. I find it ok for Date Knights to be more of laid back chillax fun. I wouldn't put more effort into it than necessary.

My RPG Challenge Contest Idea
I don't think that would be a fun challenge, personally. You could make a floor of a dungeon and force the player to repeat it 10 times. Heck, you could just make a switch and tell the player to switch it on 1000 times and bam, you've already met the criteria.

If you don't like how a game turned out, telling the dev that the game is bad is not helpful. You didn't include anything the dev could even improve on. If I was the dev, I would have nothing to say other than to shrug my shoulders and say "Okay?"

Best of luck, but it's unlikely that you're going to get a lot of volunteers to work for free for a dev who hasn't shown they have the skills and drive needed to complete a project before.
I know a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon MMO is obviously what you're passionate about, but you might want to start smaller and aim for something you can do without a handful of volunteers for your first game.

I recommend visiting the discord if you really wanna know. We tend to avoid talking about him because all he craves is attention and he's been ban evading for years.
This does bring up a good point. Given that he craves attention so much, I don't see why he should be featured at all in an RMN community game, even if he's the villain. That's still giving him attention (and by proxy, making newbies curious about who he is). He is best forgotten, because it's the exact opposite of what he wants.
Given that the game is a work in progress, it's probably too late to change that now, but in the future, I'd like to suggest that helaz be completely dropped from "RMN lore" or whatever you want to call it. Let's not feed the troll.
