i just finished up diabolica's css, more like revised it though. idk i am AWFUL at any sort of design so this was a struggle. not to actually get it done, but to figure out what looked PLEASING to the eyes
That CSS is diabolical

thank you!

i can only hope the game is more diabolical >:)

I just had a picture drawn for me of my cat babe, Sarah, and yours truly sharing a warm moment. Mmm, so good! (NSFW, I guess? Doesn't really show anything) Also, I'm a pirate sheep. With inverted color and set to stretch, it makes for a damn fine wallpaper.

Happy New Years, everybody!

Sorry, last year's round-up. The game I'm working on is probably not a happy game that brings excitement, energy, and hope for the future. That was, however, last year's game. T-that counts. Right? RIGHT?

Sleep, I'm thinking about sleep. I'm not actually sleeping since I'm in the middle of a writing binge which is stopping me sleeping, but I'm thinking about it.

My dog threw up this morning. Unfortunately for me it wasn't a dream.

You gotta be kidding, Samantha would never put up with that :)

I make a New Year's resolution every year to not die. Simple, right? Well, I nearly died this morning. And again about an hour ago.

I took my dog out for a walk. We were going through a dirt trail surrounded by forests. I accidentally stepped on a root the wrong way and twisted my ankle. I fell and nearly smashed my head on a large rock. My ankle hurt, but I was okay.

Or so I thought.

7 hours later, I was gam mak-ing. I got up to go get some food. When my foot hit the ground, my ankle just gave out. I fell forward and smashed my face against the window. I've never done a stress test on a window before, so I'm not certain if it was possible for me to have broken it, but if I had, I would have had my throat cut from the glass. Now, my ankle's much worse. I can't even walk without serious pain.

Maybe I'm making this second one more severe than it really is, but I can't help but fear that this was Death trying to get revenge on me for botching his first attempt this morning.

To sum it up: On New Year's Day, I have two near death experiences. I'm afraid to know what's going to happen from now on.

Help.

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

I had the same once, on vacation in France, I was walking on the pavement along a road when my ankle randomly decided to give out, landing me with my face on the road. At that moment, a car drove by, mere centimetres from my face.

I was spooked all day.

I once almost fell off a scaffold and into a shed filled with live electrical equipment.

Wouldn't have been a good thing.
I hate to say it, but it usually comes in threes - so be extra bloody careful, a'ight?

Red you are the most fortunate person around. The number of times you fall and don't smash in your skull, don't cut your jugular, don't lose an eye, or teeth or break bones. The number of near misses you have is phenomenal. You are being watched over by some seriously protective something or other, so I wouldn't be worried, at this rate, you're never going to die.

I cracked my hip once.

Somehow.

I honestly don't know how, one day my hip started to hurt.
And hurt more.
And more.
Then it hurt too much to move, so my parents got me checked, and behold my hip be cracked! Was confined to a couch for an absurdly long time. Had to chew the swallow pills because it just wasn't possible for me to swallow them! Maybe cuz I once chocked on pepperoni skin. That was fun.

What was I talking about? Eh, whatever.

My existence is either proof of a protective deity or proof of a sadistic one. And if The Sims is any representation of a deity's behavior...

I think last year alone I almost died or critically injured at least 4 times. And that's NOT counting the threats:

- A grill blew up in my face.
- a gallon of boiling water was dumped on me.
- Hot grease splattered onto my dominant hand, preventing it's use for a few days. (that was during the IGMC!)
- I was nearly impaled by a falling tree branch.

... I need a bubble. I would go about my daily activities in a bubble with absolutely zero shame.

I can be as careful as possible, but the world just has other plans. I do like the idea that I'll never die though, nhubi. That whole argument that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? Right? *Nervous laughter*

I went out for a walk one winter's night while the ground was still half frozen and slipped and smacked the back of my head enough to give me a startle. I checked all my extremities for lack of motion and did a quick check in my head to make sure I was still all there and I'm pretty sure I've walked away unscathed.

Then a time when it didn't feel like serious injury (I wouldn't say death) was staring me in the face but was instead lingering around me was when I had a bout with costochondritis (Google result, can't remember what the doctor called it) and I had a hard time walking, lying down and sometimes breathing because it felt like my rib cage had completely locked up and would eventually cause me to lose the ability to draw in just about any kind of breath, which is scary if you're at school when it gets to that point like I was.

The scary thing is that I was just sitting at my computer playing Runescape when I started feeling the ache originally come over my body, and I was all alone in the house. I asked my friend's brother's friends over Ventrilo what I should do and one suggested that I get a drink of water because I might be dehydrated (which, of course, didn't help). It was all downhill from there.
