Bayonetta is so much fun. Probably my favourite of the DLC characters by far. They do a really good job of keeping her kid-friendly, too. I suppose the most risque thing about her might be her win poses, but even those aren't too bad - though I think any young boys playing the game are going to find them to be quite curious!

Corrin has more movement in their moves. The dash attack is a spiral lunge, one of the B moves has a lunge that goes more than half a stage distance, the back air pushes them forward. One of the aerials is a full 360 spin, so it offers different shaped hitboxes. Oh, and the projectile along with some invincible frames I think. One of the smash attacks, when charging, has a persistant hitbox. I think that's unique in the game. Those are the most obvious differences and leads to a character is plays differently and one you have to fight differently.
I wouldn't disagree that the reskins like Dark Pit/Lucina are lame and that there are too many FE characters, those are legit arguments. Saying, anybody who has a sword is just another Marth, isn't. It's a rush to judgement with probably some bias and jealousy that their character choice didn't make it in ;P I voted for Goku. But I don't care anymore about characters since I've already locked into Megaman. I'm kind of glad there will be no more characters, no more temptations to want to switch.

Fire Emblem has been used a bit much in Super Smash Bros., but since those characters have become very popular over here (with RPG players and Bishie lovers), it only makes sense. I would prefer a couple more Pokemon myself.
And a couple of more characters from Nintendo's other series. Again, that would be a terribly long list, so I won't go into that.
Wow, I like this preference list! As a Toad fan, I've always preferred that Toad would have more of a use than a bullet reflector.
And a Belmont would be great. I would've preferred that Konami would've used one of them instead of Solid Snake. While I would prefer Richter or Trevor, Simon would probably be the best ambassador choice. Him or Alucard(Though he would be another sword guy).
Bomberman would be simply amazing. I feel in love with that game, and I like the character, so yes! Besides, he would have a unique move set with all of the bomb techniques. You could play him tactically, like Robin.
Master Higgins and Captain N really are obscure here, but I completely agree. They both deserve a little more love from fans! As long as Master Higgins was given a shovel and his island gear, instead of sword and armor.
P.S. Birdo would be cool, but I'd still vote for Lord Fawful over her. Besides, they might make her a Yoshi clone, what with all of the similarities they share in the sporting games.

Finished up my mega combo video. Check it out! It's not just a combo video, there are classic NES scenes I created from scratch that tie it all together to make it look like a Let's Play of a classic Mega Man game.
It's long, I know. I have tons of footage and it ended up being a lot but I also created a shorter version because I know some people will have an issue with a 43 minute video xD

The original version has clips of pellet only walling. I removed all of them in the short version, plus some other clips and left only the best. I would prefer people watch the long one because that is more of a reflection of what Mega Man can be, but even if you watch the short one it would be appreciated.

We should do another tournament sometime. Maybe like before with a serious one, and a fun one (like, Fire Emblem characters only, since they are so contentious atm).

I always enjoy watching the replays u send , Link. I feel kinda bad for ur opponents because MM can be frustrating to fight against (I've been there). Have you been to any tournaments? There is no smash scene in my area but I've always wanted to attend one, even if I get rekt.
Also Kentona i would love for there to be another RMN tournament. Idk what themes we would have tho. For Waifus (female fighters only)? For Harambe (Uhhh DK/Diddy?)

I might play some more when the ethernet cable I ordered gets here, assuming it actually helps with the lag at all. Though, I also want to play some other fighting games online, namely the new Guilty Gear.

Heh Your Jiggs and Zelda replays are always fun. We should try some games again soon. I often get a little bit of lag and end up rage quitting, but you're a good opponent so I'd like to keep trying xD Plus every time we play I've improved a lot, and this time is no exception ;)

I still play! My nnid is miraclejeanacle, but I can't fight until Christmas break (unless it's on 3DS). I play Wii Fit Trainer. If there's enough interest I'd be happy to set up another tourney (though I'd like to use a different format-- tourney mode wasn't stellar)
Is anyone interested in a Holiday Tourney? If so, do you have suggestions for themes and how to run it? Link_2112 and Kentona had good suggestions
Edit : side note, but I've been attending locals in my town at college! I'm in Florida and the smash scene is huge everywhere but where I am. I attended 1 local this season, steamrolled everyone until grand finals (I went 2-0 all the way) but I had to forfeit at grand finals because my ride had to leave suddenly. I got 2nd by default and that alone put me at #16 on the local pr which is.... depressing to say the least for the pr here. If the semester weren't so busy I'd attend more but at least I play with friends kind of regularly

Id say just do a Challonge bracket and run it like a normal double elimination tournament.
Side note: I'll beat all of you >3 I never stopped playing regularly since it came out and I keep improving. I have yet to plateau with Mega Man because he's so complex.

Sounds good to me. I can pretty much do whenever, though I can only do the wii u version. I'll probably jump on soon and add you three (fae/link/miracle). If anyone else is still active you all should leave a post as well. Always looking for more opponents.
Should be good training if a tournament does happen. I say we should do it in christmas break since that's when miracle can join. We'd just need to get more people for it.

if you need cannonfodder I can try joining. I never got good at the Wii U version and find myself playing against 5 year olds and 8 year olds mostly.

Sounds good to me. I will warn you that I'm not the type to hold back, since I believe a difficult opponent is the best way to improve. I'd expect the same of those better than me as well. If you enjoy the game, and want a good challenge, then fighting me is the way to go.
Edit: I think I'll be jumping on in about 10 minutes and see who's around. Going to quickly make a note of the ninntendo id's i'm going to add on my phone real quick as well.
