As the class gets motoring towards the racetrack, a loud thud-thud of galloping feet crashes along behind Parmesan. With the grace of a swan (or pizza dough), Parmesan manages finds herself being lifted into the air by her giant pet dog. A few massive bounds later, and Parmesan is in the lead!

Along the way, Violet gets trampled by Dom. She's out!
Dill Picklo's lightning speed legs only move so fast. He's a pickle with tiny legs, so his impressive muscles are not so great. While Dill maintains in the running, he falls behind Dom and Parmesan.
Anika Rabbit spends the Turn avoiding Dom as the pair pass by.
Baka Gaijin tries his best and is passed by Marla. Not one for sports, he appears winded.
The rest of the class gives up and returns to their sitting area on the grass.

Confusing her competitors with victory signs, the classmates seem to believe the race is over and stop to pat Parmesan on the back. Everyone, including Baka Gaijin does this.

Pianotm / Marla
Thinking her friend is up to something, Marla uses her swift Sleight of Hand skill to pry Baka from the crowd and manipulate him back onto the track. The other classmates lose!
Baka Gaijin, followed closely by Marla win!

Whistle blows and the race is over.
The Tasmanian devil teacher is standing directly beside Baka Gaijin when he blows the whistle, probably causing internal ear damage.
"Alright you mooks, it's decided! Baka and Marla will be competing team captains to pick teams. Good job. Hit the showers. This race took longer than expected. It's already time for lunch break. We'll pick this up tomorrow and get straight to the main event! Dismissed."
Again the Tasmanian Devil teacher blows his whistle, leaving everybody's ears rattling.

After showering and such, Marla, Parmesan, and Baka find themselves in the school hallway.
The cafeteria is down the hall past Homeroom.

Delsin / Rosa
While Rosa bites into a bread roll, she becomes aware that someone is behind her. A thick thumb, the size of Rosa's wrist, taps impatiently into Rosa's collarbone.
"'Scuse me. But what're you doin' exactly?"

Along the way through the cafeteria, heading towards the serving counter, Marla 'discovers' (with help from Parmesan) several items that people had the nerve to leave outside their backpacks.

As if on command, Bianca arrives behind the lunch lady. Overturning a boiling vat of tomorrow's Vegan Sloppy Joe so that it lands square on the lunch lady's head. Boiling faux ground beef tofu and tomato sauce smothers the old lady in what would have been a screaming fit of agony. Instead, it resulted in a gurgling fit of agony.
The way is clear to leave the kitchen! And what time, too!
Just now, Yukio (arriving late, of course) walks through the cafeteria door! The ambush of humiliation and love can commence!
Bianca levies a handful of 'fud' and nods firmly at Rosa.

Only Baka responds to Marla's question, as Parmesan is preoccupied with something else. Baka's eyes widen slightly at playing hooky on his first day, but the wild idea certainly seems to appeal to him.
"W-what should we do?" Baka says in a low voice, "W-where would we go?"

Chears / Parmesan
As Parmesan cries over Grandma, she falls to her knees. Just as a handful of muck flies through the space that her head would be. Through pure dismay, she avoids being hit by 'fud'.

Delsin / Rosa
Rosa and Bianca let fly several handfuls of fud, most of which land in the faces of random students. However, one 'fud' hits Yukio straight in the face.
A squirrelly boy sitting near Yukio stands up and points animatedly. After a spluttering moment of hesitation, the squirrelly boy shouts, "FOOD FIGHT!"

On cue, the students in the cafeteria begin throwing food at one another. Carnage erupts instantaneously. As if the students had been waiting with baited breath to join in.

Everybody roll to dodge!

Along the way out of the cafeteria, Marla manages to dip below an oncoming gluten missile so well, that she is able to drag Baka down with her. Both of their heads clunk together awkwardly. Baka Gaijin shyly rubs his brow and says, "S-sorry!"
Baka begins to blush intensely.

Chears / Parmesan
In hot pursuit of her friends, Parmesan slips on a banana peel! If that wasn't bad enough, she receives a face full of sloppy joe meat("imitation") sauce. The impact causes her to cartwheel backward through the air.

Delsin / Rosa
Despite great success in humiliating Yukio, Rosa finds herself engulfed in a storm of flying food, lunch boxes, and miscellaneous debris. Through the thick of it, Rosa can see Yukio peeling 'fud' from his eyes. His furious demeanor is taken aback when Bianca slides up beside him with a roll of paper towel.
Rosa witnesses an endearing moment. Yukio wrenched out of his usual emo grumpy mood by Bianca's peace offering. The two share a look of humility and bashfulness. It seems like there might be a kiss in the near future--
--however, a baked potato smacks Rosa in the side of the head, causing her to pinwheel sideways across the lunchroom.
Only to have Parmesan cartwheel into her.
Both take 2 points of damage!
