Current (joke) theory: mouth of pazuzu bites people and converts them into werewolves.

While we wait for more posts to show up, now is a good time for our psychiatrist to diagnose cave. Perhaps give him the spot test and see what turns up.

jeroen reacted pretty strongly to the two jokevotes on him. almost like he's nervous due to hiding something, such as being in a cult, or else wolfman disease

I also noticed that during my pig test, he was avoiding silver.

So, day one is as productive as ever so far.

I had to get a night of sleep before actually getting Piano's "spot" joke.

It does bother me that Jeroen is, like, completely incapable of recognizing humor/sarcasm. He feels the need to point out evidence that Cave's joke is "fake," and just because someone plays along with his own joke he thinks they don't realize it's a joke. This happened last game too when Cave made a joke on day two about having a power role. It's not a scum tell or anything because he keeps doing it across multiple games, I'm just worried he has brain lesions or something. That actually happened in an episode of House.

Out of all the jokesters, JJJ's posts read most like he's trying to seem active while saying nothing to me.

Honestly, the only person in this game right now who isn't just joking to stay active while saying nothing is you. So, this is kind of a weird statement that I'd like to hear you explain. Though it also means you're probably not the best person to lynch because you're actually contributing.

There's been many jokey reactions in the thread so far, but JJJ's been initiating the jokes the most, I feel. For instance with this post:

I think this is a good moment to establish who's trustworthy and who's not.

I'd say im pretty trustworthy so far, i mean, why would I start a witch hunt BEFORE the actual game even started if i wasn't eager to hunt mafia?

I'm offended that people believe that our lord and savior Pazuzu is the main issue in this situation when is clear that the real problem are those filthy foreigners.

And the werewolves to a lesser degree.

Both of those posts read to me like he doesn't want to respond to what's going on but feels the need to say something.

Piano's been doing the same thing, but it's stuck out to me less since the jokes were reactions.

I actually did think about this, but then again, I kind of did start it. Anyway, it's day one. The whole point is to interact. Jokes are actually a pretty good way to do that.

Well there's not a lot to go on in day 1,
so i think making jokes is the simplest way to start things off, it's also more fun, and it's a good way to test the waters too.

Alright, I think I waited long enough to do this. Gourd was very active in the last few games as town. He also promised us to be the towniest town this game and he has yet to deliver. In fact, hes been extremely quiet. I'm not sure if that is a scum tell for gourd, but I prefer this over the jeroen train. I considered waiting a bit longer, but he was active right from the start in the last few games with big paragraphs, and it has been about a day since this has started.
