Well aren't you the humorous one? :D

Seriously I like both screenshots featuring single rooms with a forward facing female protagonist, I just thought it might be instructive/entertaining to contrast/compare.

I don't know exactly what kind of space your screenshot is supposed to represent? But I guess it is just a chipset test.

Haha. I didn't even notice that. I also realize that the female charsets are reverse in color to: one has blue hair and a brown dress, another has brown hair a blue dress.

But no, that charset is not the protagonist of my game. I was just using some chipsets (some of which I made, some of which I compiled).

Good catch! I did not recognize that either!

About my chipset...I can't necessarily explain exactly what it is, but I can say it is some kind of corroded, rusty, bloody dungeon-type place. :-\

Haha lighting effects. View the entire map below:
Nice chipset and maps.

Is this Beloved Rapture or a different game?

Those lights compliment the map, Blind, so good job.

Castle (graphics made in fireworks mx):

I spent forever on the drawbridge
@BlindSight: I really love those underwater tiles.
@Craze: ummm...

What drawbridge?

I think that is the drawbridge. Looks good Craze. ;)
Maybe it's just me, but I can't see Craze's screenshot.
Blind: Ah, vintage BlindMindSight (Why the name change btw?). I love the lights. ;D

Craze: There is no spoon.

Yeah, Orig pretty much nailed the planks together.

I really don't want to post a video of every cool addition to Asc, and since it doesn't include any gameplay mechanics either, and whatnot.

But but, I just couldn't prevent myself showing off the intro sequence. :((

So yeah, this is how the game begins. After the rooftops you see some professor guy waking up in his room and then you gain control of the character, and you can head off to the city.

The elevator in the end is just a plus. Wanted to show the elevator, too... lol. :(

This is very good atmospherically, but suffers from a lack of perspective. As the buildings are raising up (I assume this is due to your view moving down to the city), the background should be panning upwards, and the vehicles should be moving upwards as well, slightly slower than the background is. As it currently stands, it simply looks like these giant monolithic skyscrapers are erupting from the ground.

Oh thanks for that feedback. I'll take a look at it and see if I can fix it with your suggestions. :)
