I'm healthy physically, but my heart hurts . . .
There was a preorder available for RMMZ that included RMMV as a bonus. I started an RMMV project, and when RMMZ was released, I transferred my project to the new engine. I've been learning and having a lot of fun developing a video game that I want to play.
I care deeply about my project because it's a part of me. Every time I have to butcher it to be allowed to share it on a popular platform, I find myself face-first in a pillow filled with tears. It feels like my heart is being crushed.
If I don't censor my beautiful work of art, no one will be able to play it. I'm still learning how to use the engine, and your opinion is vital so I can improve.

It's not one person in particular. It's crazy people who are okay with their children watching violence, but god forbid they see a game about love because they think it's a bad thing to give someone pleasure but causing them pain is okay.
I'm not trying to market my project to children, and my project has violence in it too, but I know that society's backwards way of thinking is where the problem I have sharing my project stems from.

Society has its own problems to worry about. Everyone has something they bitch about in a society based on their own beliefs. The fact of the matter is that you've come here to talk shit about getting your hentai game taken down or toned down from the event. Completely disregarding the fact of people still having to suffer from the plague, and even losing loved ones to it.
Being able to read the room is a great skill, isn't it?

I wasn't aware this thread was exclusively about the pandemic. I thought it was about how everyone was doing in general, and people just started discussing the pandemic because that's what was on their minds ATM.
I'm not developing a pornographic game. My submission was misinterpreted because I'm still learning how to use the engine, and I ran out of time to flesh it out.
I didn't come here to complain about the event. I was complaining because I'm upset that I don't receive much feedback. After all, I have to use NSFW tags or flag my videos on other sites, and this limits the viewership and hurts me as a video game developer because feedback is important to improve.
Technically speaking, this thread could be a "What are you doing?" thread, as far as non-gamemak related posts are concerned. That is not to say that this thread cannot have conversation outside of COVID-related issues.
As to the point about getting feedback, I dunno what to say there. Getting feedback is probably as hard, if not harder, than getting attention in the first place. I hate self-promotion as much as the next person. Still, I try to drop a line in blogs, or comments, about wanting feedback, and, yeah, I very rarely get any responses. Of course, sometimes I'm not patient enough to let the request sit for long enough, but, that's my own failing.
Some time ago, I put myself out there as a tester on this thread so that I might have some opportunities to maybe do a "I test your game, you test mine" gig, and interact with the community that way. I don't remember how many offers I gave, nor took, since. However, more to the point, it's generally a good idea to not just request that your stuff gets looked at, but look at other people's stuff too.

Is Covid still around? I HAVEN'T NOTICED.
Supposedly, where I am, they’re going to start lifting some restrictions later on in June, and even make mask use indoors completely precautionary unless a private business demands so, but our cases and death count continue to trend downwards from 1100 cases at one point a day down to less than 150 - so that’s a positive!
The only thing that’s bit a worrying is the Indian Delta variant going around. And since where I live we have a huge Indo-Canadian population, cases could be on the rise again... I sure hope not, but you never know!
I’m keeping my expectations low when it comes to anything but signs are starting to point that things might be coming back to normal sooner than expected... Which is good 'cause I'm getting tired of being cooped up!

I understand, and I apologize for assuming the worst from what I had heard. Not a great welcome wagon to RPG Maker Network, and I likewise apologize for that too. Please do not take my being an ass as what the rest of RMN's community is like. I'm sorry you haven't had a great community to share what you want to create either.
