...FFXII with my little (not so little anymore) brother. Now he can understand the game I'M SO HAPPY OH GOD
Played God of War 2. Exact replica of the first game. Quit.
Played Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for 3 hours, more of a movie than a game. Quit.
Playing Dead Space now. Like it!
I suppose I like games that are actual games, with gameplay, rather than ones that are nothing but cutscenes and "move block here to open door" bs. It's a shame these are the ones getting all the attention these days. Stupid kids.

Guild Wars 2. I have literally not played a single other game since November.
My exact words
What's the deal with Persona 3?
I mean, you're just minding your own business walking through some bigass dungeon (Tartarus? Where're all the fish at, am I right?) when you come across a giant revolving tower thing blocking your way. You're like, "Sure, why not?" Then you try fighting it and get your ass flattened a hundred freaking times, thanks to some pretty 'shocking' electric spells.
What's a guy to do? Well, you go on down to the Velvet Room, buy every Persona in freaking existence and try and come up with a combination that'll stand a few thousand volts of electricity. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.
Oh, what's this? A Persona that nullifies electric spells? Sure, thanks pal! So you equip this fancy-ass Persona, get back to freakish revolving tower thing, say "Hey how's it going?" and proceed to kick it senseless.
So you're just smiling and all, because things are finally going your way, you know? And then when the tower thing's got, like, 30% of its total HP left, a spell called "Elec Break" comes out of nowhere and your Hero's, like, "Oh shit, my electric resistance's nullified! Who'da thought?". Then the tower thing decides to double its magic strength and before your know it, BOOM, a 300 HP electric attack hits your Hero so hard he winds up at the Cosby Show. "GAME OVER. With the GAME and the OVER and the YOU KNOW hehaheashdasdfgrgasd."
WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?

A cute game on armorgames.com called Adventure Story. Kinda girly with it's cuteness and how you play as a girl but still fun.
author=JosephSeraphThat games awesome, I was playing through it on a public holiday a while back on the old PS2. Been trying to keep up with it but I forgot how long the game could be. I'm doing pretty well though, when I got Vossler he was at level 24. I haven't opened a single chest, I wanna try out that Zodiak Spear.

Also keen to try out that new DmC, has anyone tried it out?
You can get the spear from the respawning chests in the Henne Mines. The part that opens up later in the game. You can get as many as you like!
Open chests!

Around 130 hours into Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. I think I'm addicted, haven't really played any other games since I started (tried FTL for a bit, but didn't really like it). Not that anything interesting came out recently...
Just as I was getting comfortable with the game, I unlocked High Rank quests, and sh*t got serious. After succesfully hunting monsters from every low-rank quest (fuck you, Tigrex), I first get owned by a HR Khezu (didn't expect those new moves) and then by a purple gypceros, monsters I normally consider "easy".
Really glad I gave the game a proper try after initially being put off by the camera/lack of lock-on/difficulty. And the leveling system is fun. Instead of your character getting XP and levels, you as a player get more and more skillful/experienced and "level up". Beating a monster not by numbers, but rather your skill, is quite satisfying.
EDIT: Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask was 20 hours well-spent. And the 3DS XL is/soon will be an awesome console. Mario 3D Land, NSMB2, Monster Hunter 3G/4, SMT 4, Soul Hackers, Etrian Odyssey 4, Fire Emblem, Resident Evil Revelations... the list goes ON.

And with that, I beat Donkey Kong Country. Now I can go buy another game and try to beat that before my FC Twin decides to bite it.
Feb 9th EDIT: Bought Super Mario World and plan on getting some serious gaming done tonight or tomorrow (depends on if I want to map instead).
