What are you some kind of bot? I've noticed whenever I seem to post messages for my game's support to forums in the RPG Maker Community I seem to always either get ridiculed in some way or have some sort of rude insolent fool make a mocking comment about my works. Why don't you try making a game with better quality than I present before acting like a pretentious fool!
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Actually I don't think he was being sarcastic, I think he just types like an idiot in order to portray himself as an idiot. I mean look at his profile.

I don't think either and really liked your video, top one, smooth and quick, makes it interesting. (And don't worry about reactions, your posts are among the ones I'm most interested in, probably a little above average as intelligence goes? you'll always have that kind of reactions from a certain type of people.)

yeah sorry i guess
Wow, sweet logo!
Yeah, I guess I'll just have to ignore such a person. Thanks for the complement. :)

Here's a Shot of My Horror Game in the making, Eden Hall. Still working on the enemies at the moment.

Those cutesy sprites don't look particularly scary. A pink haired anime heroine in a horror game makes it seem more like a spoof than anything.

You couldn't have picked a worst target. Have you seen what he's done? It's about the coolest stuff I've seen around for ages.

For your screen, I'd sprite a new main character because the big cute eyes clash very badly with the horror scheme you're trying to put in place there. Just a suggestion :).
Looks like lightning from FF13. Just without the loose pony tail. I don't actually think it ruins the atmosphere of the game, after all, we don't even know where the game is set yet. It could be in for of an eastern era for all we know, which means anime does take a first stance.

Although if not, I guess the eyes could be shrunk just a little, because it is personally what I looked at first.

Or maybe because I just like looking at eyes...

A preview of the faces I'm working on. Obviously, Jespias's isn't finished yet. In the dialogue boxes, they'll be a little more zoomed in:

They're supposed to look like paintings, but they're not actually paintings at all - to be honest, I simply found pictures of people dressed in medieval clothing/armor, applied a bunch of Photoshop filters, and edited the colors. I love Roco's facesets, but I want my game to feel a bit different from other RM2K3 games.

Epic of Zoon was one of my favorite projects. The story was personal and relatable in the sense that it delves into fears and emotions faced by many of us. This is perhaps my favorite of all the intros I have ever made for a video game. The entire cast can be seen walking about and partaking in their everyday lives. The intro shows the events before the joining of the ensemble. Zoon in the very first scene is shown farming right outside his humble home on the country side while Vigo unknowingly passes by. Jaja the magician is seen at the very last scene honing his skills which later serve great aid to the team in their efforts.

Perhaps the most surprising decision on my part however was to depict these protagonist's lives in chapter one of Epic of Zoon, considering chapter one has nothing to do with them..instead it follows the journey of Ian who having lost everything by the end of chapter one, discovers Zoon and adopts him. Ian can actually be seen in the very first scene of the intro. If you look as the screen pans up past Zoon's/Ian's farmhouse, for a split second you can see the spirit of Ian watching over Zoon.

lol looking back. Anyway nice intro you had man. I remember the GW topic, though two things always bugged me about your game(Sasuke.. Sasake? Something like that, your old username?) was, well first the name Epic of Zoon. Second, the use of those sprites always seemed off to me.
@Tau: Thanks man, as per the name..the first thing that came to mind was Edward Bellamy's Looking Backwards so I played off of that but I'm very open to suggestions as I still want to mess around with the intro. The name was Sanosuke (Kenshin). With Epic of Zoon as the title, I understand that it sounds funny but I decided to go with it due to the meaning of Zoon (in sanskrit it means moon) And this name played a vital bit in the discovery of Zoon as a baby by Ian at the end of the first game. I also got mixed reactions with the sprites, but even looking at it now I feel they add to the maps...I dunno I like the style they are drawn in =]

New Stage for SSB Crusade, this time is a revamp of Chemical Plant Zone, thoughts??

@Lotus_Games, I wish more games used that kind of faux 3D look. I think it drives off the mainstream crowd less than pure 2D graphics, and the ones in that game are pretty nice looking as an added bonus. The fact that you got it looking that nice in RPG Maker 2003 is kind of mind-blowing.

@Felipe_9595: Since you're basically just taking a tileset from a Sonic game and making the simplest possible level from it, I'm not sure what to say other than "Yeah, that looks like Sonic." Is there anything interactive in it? It seems like the last few stages you posted were non-interactive. Wish your stages were more interactive; if they're all gonna be that simple then you don't really need more than four or five stages total.

@Dethmetal: Kniryk needs a more pronouncable name, and looks more like a tribal warrior than a medieval bard, but the style of the facesets looks nice. Consider putting some kind of border around them; I think they'd look better with a one or two pixel border.

And now for something completely different:

This is supposed to be a modern naval base. I have never made urban areas before help

Already I think the street probably needs to be narrower... not that converting two rows of asphalt tiles into rows of rooftop tiles is really going to improve the map.
Yeah, its interactive, it haves 2 platforms in the middle doing a circle pattern and a Spiny in the bg trowing missiles at the players.

Navy base? Needs more steam coming up through the ground for authenticity.
@Lockez: Thanks man, it's not too hard to do, I believe I was one of the first few to pioneer that style in the rpg maker community and over time I developed it..especially through watching ps1 and ps2 rpg games and trying to emulate them. I created several tutorials on how to get that look as well, many written even more video. You can actually find some on my youtube channel if anyone wants to see how it's done. I don't have any up on how to create all the 3d stuff but I have graphics packs up on my blog and show you on video how to use those to get the same look. Anyways I'll probably do a video tutorial on the isometric graphics down the road soon.

@dethmetal I like those facesets, will everyone in the game have faces? Or only the heroes? The style of the facesets however doesn't match the rm2k3 menus, why don't you make a sort of fade in the edges (fade to the colour you'll use in the final menu system) or some kind of jagged edges.
