LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

No way your feedback was constructive, it was rude and ignorant. All you had to do was say, I don't think it works very well or it's not very good here's what you do. But you go on about drabble which has nothing to do with the screen. Then you mention things I already stated already which is also kind of annoying. All I got to say is that if you got nothing constructive, good or positive to say then keep your mouth shut.
It's people like you who have no respect for others the way you comment at them and then you get annoyed when someone talks back to you.
You know what, I don't even give a toss, this is last post I'm going to talk about it. I will make 5 statements to once clarify:
-I can't make buildings and other textures as well as objects and people as stated for the 4th damn time.
-This was just an attempt to make a game with a hell of a lot more original resources than Project Viral, my completed and seemingly most well received game.
-I'm not focusing on getting horny over graphic's, it's more about the presentation for me. If you don't agree with my ideology then fair enough. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and style if they think it's OK.
-The way you see graphics is different from the way I see them. To me, as long as it makes sense I'm not bothered about the textures or smoothness all that much. I am for my other Projects but this isn't my usual way of developing games.
-There's no point attacking someone repeatedly if you already made the statement that you know it isn't good even though I pointed that out before you. What I'm focused on is as long as the presentation makes sense and people know what is happening on map then it's OK as I don't have the skills so don't shit the brick.
-I'm glad you mentioned a lot of that which means I can eventually re-graphic resources if that's what it's going to take in the future...
-RPG Maker is a game itself. It's about fun not over seriously drugged up shit about graphics and what not. You create your own game, not a game that has to suit everyone's needs. It's all about freedom for me to express my older works. If you don't like it then that's your problem. You can go to sleep and cry about for all I care.
-Everyone else agreed with your arguments. Aren't you guys reading my messages, I ALSO AGREE. Your consensus fails to look at the ignorance and rudeness. Almost as if Krysty or whatever her name is even if that is even her real name was getting pissy because she saw graphics that weren't good. (That person's use of graphics sucks, I'm so pissed off now yadayadayada!)
I'm done, drabble over.

You're putting words in my mouth, but ok.
And I don't cry.
There's a difference between being rude and being frank. I'm not going to mince words.

Nessy: I think it is a nice amount of space and also a really good use of it! Reminds me vaguely of Secret of Mana, but that's probably just because it's open enough to be ARPG-ish.
Just showing off the original character faces Dyhalto whipped up for DFR. They're done in the FE style.
Also, the latest town whipped up by Corfaisus.

Isn't there a magnifying glass tool in 2k3 that lets you take better screenshots (without the upper/lower lightness difference)? Although I honestly do prefer REFMAP desaturated.
I love how some of the houses are nestled right into the cliffs. Like, it doesn't really make sense for natural light and shit, but who cares!? IT LOOKS COOL.
My only nitpick is the pool - maybe shift-click the walkway around it, since the pool autotile already has a border? It's a little silly as-is.

Only this topic has that sort of snobbery I'd say.
Perhaps have pros and cons.
author=LockeZauthor=CrazeI'm 70% sure he was actually being sarcastic and mocking me (and also 70% sure the object you're standing on is a cake), so I don't think he minds. You can both mock me though, but I still think it works. If you combine two or more generic things, the result is less generic.ShortStarThe ShortStar school of game "design:" INSTANT ATMOSPHERE, JUST ADD A + B + WATER
but now I realize that I've gotta include two gimmicks to make it pop and be less generic.
(i'm mocking you)
A trainyard that's also a graveyard is more interesting than one or the other; a cathedral that's also the site of a meteor landing is more interesting than one or the other; a treasure-filled cave that's also the ruins of a prehistoric fortress is more interesting than one or the other; an ancient ruined city that's also an outpost for researchers is more interesting than one or the other.
You're 70% wrong. I was being honest, but I guess that can come off as sarcastic. Thank you for your tips, and they're probably for the best. As for Craze. Thanks for being Craze.

Yeah, I like the look of Refmap on Layer 2. That's mainly why I did it like that. =P
You're right about the pool, though. I notice that now. Looks a tad silly, doesn't it?
I am sick and tired of seeing RPG Maker 2000/2003 games with Mack and Blue tilesets. They are so goddamn overused.
I like them, myself. That's why I opted to use them over the various other rips and edits floating around out there. I haven't really experiment with very many graphical styles other than the NES Dragon Quest/Warrior style, to be honest. I can understand where people come from when they say they're sick of seeing it, though.

I haven't seen Mack and Blue tilesets in use since last decade.
Cristopher: I think that'd rather belong to the "what you're working on topic" since this isn't really a screenshot... anyways.
The new character looks pretty nice, very dark fantasy-themed with a lot of colors - I'm liking this concept art a lot. Props on the lots o' details, as well!

Ah, okay. Thanks for the complement.

I would love to get this tileset.
Here you go. It's not 'complete' yet, but you can make your own additions to it, if you want. =P

It won't be a visual novel, just by the screenshot, obviously be a rpg...
No this isn't exactly Romeo and Juliet, kind of.... :) I wanted to try a different type of game that involves relationships between one of two people while on their journey, fall in love, etc(which I was going to do with Dreamwalker...why not I just say Lesbians and get over and done with it) I mean the characters won't be all lesbians, I think one of the guy character is gay. So yeah. Might work our swell.
The downright backwards Christian type father....
Watch Out We Got A Badass Over Here

Thanks, I won't take the game seriously though...the beginning is just abit of serious business. Then it just abit over the top with quirky characters joining,
Prolouge will contain three gay characters....But there is six characters, which means of course, thanks to Ace's character reserve members....there can be more...there's also character whose a night, that is sick in tired of having a girly name....but isn't gay though.
11 characters so far. But that's both the prog and chapter 1.
