OK Guys, I've gotten permission to Share some of my work on the FF Essence soundtrack- as well as kudos from the composer of the Main Theme- so here are two vids. The credits should be clear, though I may have mistaken the composer on one of them. Enjoy!

Sorry, you kind of confused me. What was it again you did in those songs?

I was commissioned a title screen theme that was supposed to sound sinister and kind of like a dance.

I also re-uploaded my previous videos with some new magic applied on them, so they should sound somewhat better!
I'm in the process of tweaking these so the timing/levels might be a bit off in parts, but the idea was for a Title Theme that also acted as the main character's theme.

I was going to use main theme as the main menu music and have parts of it worked into more action oriented sections of the game and the softer mix to be playing in the main character's house and being worked into quieter moments of the game.

Sadly I've hit a bit of a creative dry spell with the game so I'm working on a small 'mess around' game while I try and come up with new ideas.

Here is a short midi I made a while back.

Some loop I did tonight because I felt like making a muzak.

Tracks were improvised/live input'd (except drum track) so the timings are loose/dodgy. It makes me think of spooky skeletons.

Edit: Minor update to the mixing now.
Check out my new track "Fight or Die?". I would best describe it as something you would hear in a 90's fighting game or anime.

You can listen to it here:

not at all videogame music, I hope that wasn't a requirement.

*ignores possible sarcasm* I (Joseph Singer)took the most recent midi arrangements of the songs and remixed them for use in the current version of the game as MP3s. One or two songs were re-scored as well.

Long time I have been out from the forums, but I'm still in the bussiness of music composition :) This is one of my newest works, it's a theme for a Cat who is making his way through city elections on my country, hope you enjoy.

My band L'anarchiste is raising money to create a full length album.
You can hear our first EP here: http://lanarchiste.bandcamp.com/

If you enjoy the music, please consider helping out! Otherwise have a nice day!
Some WIP remix of VX's Battle 1. Still need some mix fix. XD
It is good fun.

Yay for making random notes work. I have zero musical training, but can make creepy stuff easy.
Hey guys, check out a latest composition of mine.

Enjoy!

Something I did a time ago but just uploaded to youtube :)

Hello everyone, I'm Soda_piggy and I'm new here. I thought I'd share some of my sounds in this thread. All of these tracks were made for RPGs and are either background mood tracks for areas or battle music of some sort. Enjoy!

Slither: for a special boss battle.

Into the Depths: an atmospheric track for an underwater level.

Roll for Initiative: battle music for retro RPG "Galya: Legend of Hell Castle" (composed entirely with the Famicom's KONAMI VRC6 chip).

Shattered Light: boss music for "Galya: Legend of Hell Castle" (again with the VRC6 chip).
