Made for the 2011 RMN Summer Games, appreciatively accepted into the competition despite initial entry difficulties, and won.
This will probably be very hokey, but even if only one person downloaded ISOG- I'd feel like it was in order.
I'd like to thank all the many people that have downloaded the game, and continue downloading it.
Also, I'd want to thank the people and/or person who is responsible for featuring games, because it was a good feeling having ISOG on the RMN front page.

CloseI love this game, but I just can't finish it. It makes me too sad. Something about the combination of Satie and... just... everything. It's heavy going. I really like it, I think you've made something special here, but by God, next time I try I'm gonna have to be in a really good mood.

This is really one of the best games I've played, period.
One of the very best pieces of entertainment I've yet enjoyed, and to say it's got a deep atmosphere and delivering plot is to say little of it. ;a;

Ummm... help? The controls for me are completely nonfunctional. I cannot go up on the menu at all. On the screen I can only move left or right. Hammering the down button though on sporadic occasions the character does move down, but that's not much help. And the cancel button doesn't work. I reinstalled v2.1 twice, then tried v.2, and both of them have the same problems. What's happening?
EDIT: Actually I tried a different game, same problem. I think my keyboard is bugging out on me. Let me see if resetting it will fix it.
EDIT2: OK fixed the problem. Whatever the problem was. So, this was weird. I rebooted my computer, tried the other game that also was screwed up and it worked fine. Problem was I deleted this game already from my computer and my Internet wasn't recognizing my Internet connection so I restarted AGAIN. I downloaded the game again and, hey! Seemed to work fine, I was able to scroll up and down on the menu, then... I start the game and my character moves all the way to the left without my control. I can't move either left or right. Tried the other game, the problem here infected the other! So, hoping for a final saving grace, I restarted, AGAIN, and THIS TIME both games now play/control perfectly fine! Agghh goddamn. Well from what I've played of this game so far it is intriguing, though I just died and lost some progress. And am confused on some mechanics, but I'll go through those later. Just posting here because I thought this problem was weird, and the closest I've had to a problem like this is when I've plugged in console controllers through USB devices and run into some calibration issues that caused these sort of movement glitches. Well, I hope to give more in-depth thoughts about the actual game later!

This game hit hard in a way no other game has for me, even to this day. My first time playing I had to pause the game and lie down and cry. It's bizarre, confusing, frustrating to play, and yet one of the greatest games I've ever played. Such a wonderful hidden gem of a game.
