There exists a most curious and powerful race in the world of Ospes, able to manipulate and alter matter itself.

Their numbers are few, and from the beginning they have lived as outcasts, perceived as a threat to the world and every living thing in it.

They are called Theolar.

Thymetians, the most dominant race on Ospes, have done all that they can to suppress the Theolar. For they, more than any, are afraid of them.

Most Theolar are content to live in hiding and have abandoned the use of their abilities in hopes they would be forgotten. But among them there is a small group, known as the
Andurim, who are unwilling to give up that part of themselves.

Their sole purpose is to provide the Thymetians and the rest of the world with a glimpse of their greatness, now long overshadowed by what else they are capable of…

What users from rpgmaker.net have said...

"I've finished the game, and I have to say that I really enjoyed myself. I don't always keep the games, but this one is a must.
Thanks for all your hard work." - littlebro

"All in all, you have certainly set a standard for vx games. I can't think of one that actually gripped me, and especially like this one did...
At any rate, I'm just saying I loved the game. I can tell it had a huge amount of work placed into it." - demonlord5000

What users from rpgmakervx.net have said...

"Whoa. This game is amazing. I can't recall the last time I enjoyed a game, commercial or otherwise, this much. You've managed to create a world that pulls the player in,
makes him identify with teh characters and feel for them. A world that feels alive with lore and history. Every time I found one of the Nayrin relics...
I really felt I was discovering bits and pieces of an ancient civilization, scattered all over the world." - Jeffrey

If anyone wants to play arguably one of the best all around put-together RPGs available to RPG Maker VX, this is hereby on your must-do list.
- goldenguy

"I will say that I liked the message and it was a brilliant adventure while it lasted. The plot was tight, the characters convincing and the puzzles
were the best I've seen aside from Alundra. If you ever manifest another spectacular game, I'll be looking forward to it." - tom11

"Firstly you have a great imagination and a flair for writing, your game really drew me in and was a real "key-presser" right up until the final
scenes. Your game was also very well balanced in terms of available money, EXP, etc. The inclusion of your excellent (occasionally challenging)
puzzles and mini-games help to distract the player along the way. Also quite importantly the game runs practically bug free..." - matt-tribal

"Bloody fantastic RPG. Minigames, optional quests, math puzzles. Love it all." - vitrous

"...there's so much that can be done, and the story and adventure just keep taking new turns and twists...It's been a long time since I've played a
game that I have a hard time "setting down" after 2-3 hours, but this is doing that." - goldenguy

"...a brilliant game, you have clearly put a lot of thought into creating the world of Ospes and especially into its characters. I definitely
appreciate the humorous dialogue too." - matt-tribal

Canvas is Complete!

Five years and two children later, I have finished my second game. The download has been updated. The game should last around 15 hours or so depending on a few factors including puzzles and sidequests. I have included a full walkthrough and complete item guide with the download. If you need more detailed help than the walkthrough gives, please don't hesitate to ask. I love every kind of feedback, especially bug reports if you find any. Thank you very much to those who take the time to download Canvas and give it a shot.

Yes... my antivirus keeps running as I play, usually it's ok. Anyway it's not a great problem to me.

I'm puzzled now... trying to find the entrance to the lair of the beast I have to kill for the 5th sub-mission. I see the entrance but I can't get there because of rocks and bushes.. I'll keep searching (leveling up XD)

My hint is in a spoiler below.
There is a spot with a dead bush that you may or may not have already burned. There should be some pebbles on the ground where it was. There is a hidden passage there.
Great game so far, just started playing a few days ago.
The only problem is I am hopelessly bad at those forced stealth levels in RPGs...
Is there any easy way to get past the guards in the Island Complex short of downloading RPGMaker and deleting them? I wish I could just fight them like all the soldiers I encountered in other areas.

Otherwise I think I'll have to give up...

It's programmed in that after being caught several times in the same room, you then have the option to start fighting the guards that catch you. You must not have been caught that many times if that option still hasn't presented itself. It's only five times I believe.
Huh, I thought I got caught more. I guess I reloaded after being caught several times each time to try and conserve money.
Thank you!

My pleasure. Let me know if you make it through. And I never thanked you for giving Manifest a shot and for leaving feedback. So thanks.
Thanks for the quick response Sbethune. I'm getting Health regen from the other ring (Can't recall the name) but still not AP from the Jeweled. I'm going to try changing the battle speeds to see if that makes a difference.

That's so strange, definitely the first I've heard of it happening. There is another ring at some point that provides AP regen...if you pick it up can you let me know if that one works for you? Thanks.
Haha, was coming on here to post that. I just got the Ornate Ring and yes it is working. Very strange. That one sometimes gives 7 AP not 6 though. Not complaining :D

Hi franklyn,
Thanks for playing Manifest, and I'm glad you figured it out. Can you please put the answer to the puzzle you posted in spoiler/hidden tags. Thank you.
Hi sbethune, I'm stuck on a puzzle.

In the cave where you have to do a puzzle.. There's 1 empty space and the rest are filled with puzzle pieces, and you have to arrange them into a star. I just can't get it ;\. Can you help me a little?

@Battlemaster1 - That puzzle has a different starting arrangement each time. You'll have to move around the tiles a bit, but you'll come up with a strategy for it.

@franklyn - Lockpicking will get easier as you try it more and come up with a strategy.

Did you figure it out, or are you leaving it behind?
My brother helped me with it. I'm terrible at those puzzles.
So I have the zeppelin and I'm in sidequest mode. Looking for a few hints:

1. The Grotto - Am I supposed to be able to access this at this point (have NOT gone to Azriad yet). If so can I have a hint on how to open the door?

2. There is a sealed door in Eborill that I can't figure out how to open. Any hints?

3. There was a penguin roaming around the first snowball room in one of the Ruins, is this just for kicks or did I miss something with him?

Thanks!

PS That switch puzzle on the raining island was brutal!
