:Story:

Aeons ago, before planets and worlds came to be in the fabric of time,
Goddess Gaea the creator of Life and Rebirth, created six mystical elements
which made the foundation of a world. Nature, Fire, Water, Earth, Light,
and Shadow, these elements coalesced to form planets full of life and energy.

The world you live in is known as Lakria, a planet blooming with lush life
and full of wonderful mysteries and legends. Many inhabitants of the world
often give praise and thanks to Gaea for bestowing them such a life to live.

Until one day, the energy of the Lakria appears to be waning and the planet slowly begins to start dying. Everyone is in shock and is wondering what might be causing the planet's pain, they began to look up at the sky to Gaea for a miracle, hoping
she will once again visit the planet and bless it with rebirth.

:Spiritual Energy:
In the game, energy and spiritualism are heavily referenced throughout.
Spiritual energy pertains to the very essence that makes living things..
well, living. It is also the makeup of thoughts, emotions, and one's being.

There is positive Spiritual Energy, which is basically positive emotions
like kindness, optimism, purity, etc, which can really make one's aura
visible and shine. Negative Energy on the other hand is the exact
opposite, evil, greed, lust, doubt, and envy.

Spiritual Energy is also a source of which Magic is drawn from,
this allows one to use Magic depending on how great/type their energy is.

It is noted that in the world of Lakria, there are extremely powerful entities of spiritual energy that are capable of manifesting into physical material depending on what they seem to represent.

Thank you very much! Once you finish that scene, you should now be able to Warp to the Tower of Eden using your Ancient Flute :)
Hi,

How to go to Tower of Eden? Serene's granny said I need to "fly" to go there. What do I need to do? Thanks

Btw nice game!
:UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT:
I have uploaded the newest version of the game already!
It should be the 2.0 version. This will fix all the bugs that were
stated in the release blog as well as on this page! It also
adds some improvements, mostly in the text and some areas that
some people were experiencing some lag in as well.

If you are currently having a bug/glitch related problem with
the game in your playthrough, you can download this new version
and just plug in your old save!

Now to address some other things here!

@matski
The bugs you listed have all been fixed in the 2.0 version! I have taken some suggestions as well and implemented them too, thank you for that!

@canim
I have sent you a message in your inbox with the solutions regarding your problems :)

@rhb84
It looks like you are running an older version of the game. That problem was fixed a while back! The newest version is now available :) Sorry about that!

@Whacker
Wow, thank you for those kind strong words! That just really made my day! I want to thank you for playing the game all the way through, and helping me correct and fix things along the way. All of your effort is deeply appreciated. I will make sure to keep working on this to provide the best experience possible :D

@Frejo
After rescuing the Granny, there is nothing more there. You will not be able to find her grandson. The Nova Era book quest and the Card for the Cafe cannot be completed until later again when you're able to return back to Alfard! The warping underwater bug has now been fixed in the most recent version.

Adding a Quest Log, could definitely be possible eventually at some time. That would be a great little tool. However, as much as I'd love to be able to arrange the items in your Menu, in order to do so, I'd have to arrange them all in the database, and then go into the game and also switch every item you'll acquire which could prove to be a massive pain! I'll definitely keep clean databases in mind whenever I do decide to work on a new project though! That's a good practice.
I'm in Alfard right now, great game so far! I just wanted to know where to find the old grandma's son (the one you save from thugs and says her son invited her to see the play), she says he has blond hair but I haven't been able to find him. On a similar note, can the church book and cafe card quests be completed before infiltrating the castle?(I'm assuming they're located in the hideout you need a password to get in).

Also, a bug I found is that even after serenading the statue in the deserted island you still can't use the flute underwater (you can warp underwater from another location, but then you can't warp back out).

As for suggestions, I think some nice QOL features would be:
1)to automatically sort your items, otherwise it ends up being a bit of a mess when you want to use either consumables or side members.
2)a way to either skip or fast-forward cutscenes, so if you lose a boss fight, you don't need to rewatch the whole scene again each time.
3)a way to know how many items/chests we have before completing the temples (otherwise if you missed something and want the S, you need to redo the boss fight and cutscenes)
I've completed the game with all quests done, all achievements, and all S ranks at just under 45 hours. I'd have to say this game is easily one of the best games I've played on this site and stands proudly with any classic rpg, fan-made or otherwise. No game is without it's faults though and I had a list of more bugs I had found and general suggestions, but matski a post or two up literally stole my thunder and listed the rest of the bugs and covered all my suggestions, so defer to his/her wisdom.
Hey I have a bug to report not sure if this issue has been addressed. Spoilers*
After leaving the water temple and being stranded on the island, The goddess statue has a sign that asks you to serenade it with music. When I played the flute the character turned blue and stated that the ancient flute can now be used underwater (clearly seems to should have occurred during the underwater section). Afterwards, the character becomes stuck in place and unable to continue. Luckily, this part is not required so I was able to continue by skipping it altogether.
Hi KoopaKush, Happy New Year I am stuck in volcanic grotto I kill a big monster (I do not remember the name) already finished the right and the left side of the cave, but I need help on this two things in the central area

1) how to turn off the fire in front of the switch (the red stone)
2) how to access the central lava corridor? because there is no a mark in the floor in order to use the frost medallion

Please helppppppppp I need to continue playing, thanks in advance
Here are some bugs I encountered while playing:

- In ocean when you swim, I was able to enter rooms that you normally can access when you aren't swimming. When I entered, and left, I was walking. I tried playing the flute but it wouldn't let me. I was able to play the flute again when I walked in and out of the water temple.
- In the desert town, before I recruited the treasure hunter and when I was able to enter into the last area, when I walked into houses, it sounded like it was raining out, but it was sunny outside!
- The beastery info would show the same monster if didn't access the next monster and I flip to the next monster (current # + 1). I think it may have even displayed incorrect # for eden monsters since I didn't complete the fairie island at the time.
- There were a couple of letters in the bottom floors of eden that repeated the same text twice.
- Some of the text in dragon battles was cut off, similar problems as to when you faced guardians. I've posted this before.
- Before the last boss, I thought I didn't see the desert town scene people start to pray but I saw the desert town people scene after you beat the last boss (when town get dark/clears part)
- I had a hard time figuring out how to recruit the treasure hunter in desert town. Did other people manage to figure it out or do you think the text needs more clarification? This was one of the few quests I had a hard time figuring out.
- Did you clarified the text on the quest where the pirate asks what items needs to be loaded onto the ship? (I swore that at one point the oars weren't rotten).

I am somewhat disappointed at your beta testers you had as they missed the "rank" issues when you beat temples. I hope most of these have been fixed!

Suggestions for improvement:
- Please add a feature where you can sort items!!!!! I spent a lot of time looking for items to use in battle such as potions and so forth. I even have a difficult time looking for items out of battle.
- Add a "quest log" similar as to what the game "everlong" has so people can keep track of current quests. I know it isn't many but it may be beneficial to some players.
- When you complete fairy island quest and/or obtaining dragon summons, you should add an extra scene or two showing them starting to pray/cheer.
- I think the leveling up/exp should be adjusted. Beginning enemies should only give you 1-3 exp each and then for each new area, double it. It's quite easy to level grind and annoying at the same time. For example: in eden the enemies offer 20% more exp than mirage temple. Since the cap seems to occur around 1.5mil exp, you should be able to increase it to 9.9 mil. The way currently is fine but at the same time annoying since the next area only gives you slightly more exp but the monsters are more difficult to kill.
- Equipment obtained in my opinion give poor stat boost. You are almost better off level grinding then trying to get the best equipment. I am unsure how to tackle this as the top bosses are not too challenging when you are in the 90's (which in a way is fine but some of the top equipment should give you an edge that helps make the bosses easier)
- Is there a way to better organize forging such as when you want to forge, open a menu instead that can display items needed to forge (and if you have already forged that item?) than how it is currently set up?
- The last boss battle wasn't too difficult (My character level was around lv 80's). I am tempted to ask that it should be the strongest boss in the game (stronger than the dragon battles) but I am unsure. The oracle I say was the hardest boss to beat.

Overall I enjoyed the game. Please keep improving it and I hope this game will be a featured game soon!

1) In the Alfard city tinkering shop making a vanish powder spray makes a death bomb or at least says it does.

2) On the world map how do you get to the landmass between the lyia village island and the fairy island?

3) Night mentioned something about his family, closure, and finding grimtoll even though it's probably gone. Can you find it, if so where?(Probably related to the above)

4) About that fou lou whats his name spirit from the void chamber teleport room. He said we'd meet again, but where?

1.It should still give you the Vanish Powder Sprays, but the text is incorrect. I went ahead and fixed this up.

2. That little area is actually not accessible there is nothing there. Originally, I was gonna make it so that you go to Leon's old home, Ruuda. But, that ended up being scrapped.

3. All of Night's backstory will unravel with the main story itself, he does have his own set of character quests, but nothing to do with his memories.

4. Lei Zou is actually a little easter egg I threw into the game. You won't find him anywhere else after that. The reason why he said that, is because he is actually a character that I'm making for a future game project idea that I have! lol

1) It's impossible to enter the haven in lyia village even after the old man moves.

2) In the flame dragon of ambition area the hole you shrink to enter has a chest,
but it's already opened.

3) What is the purpose of the wandering soul dropped by soul cage in the void
chamber. The description hints giving it to a lost soul, but where is it?

4) Where do you find pure water for the liquor quest?

1. Aw man, I can't believe I missed this. :/ This is now fixed!

2. It seems like it's using an already activated switch. This is fixed now too

3. The Wandering Memory is used in the quest you get from the spirit in Nivel. In the main room where you first end up when arriving in Nivel, take the vines to the bottom platform and you'll find that NPC.

4. You can find the Pure Water from an NPC in Ishen. He is located inside the house that's next to Peace's hut.

Hm, if the Spirit Scepter doesn't work, try using it directly in front of the ghost. You are supposed to possess that ghost to fly around that room, you can then pull the lever that will activate the Sister of Woe in that area. As for the bridge room with Night, use the purple looking portal there and activate your Dead Silence ability, this will make the Eye unable to detect you so you can pass on through!

Yes, I tried again
(the Spirit Scepter worked, but I tried to pull the lever by side, not "on the lever", and I didn't know/remember the possibility of the Night's ability... I have been so stupid in this circumstance!)
and it works! Thanks a lot!
@KingOfHearts27

You are the second person I believe to report lag in those same areas. Chances are the problem is both something with those maps and possibly your computer. I haven't received any other reports of lag anywhere in the game, and I haven't experienced it myself either. But, I will look into those areas specifically and see what could be causing that. Is there any other places where you get that lag as well?

Hi, I'm stuck in
the Void Chamber. In the middle room, after using Frost Medallion in order to change the colour of the flame, in the room near "the Serene one" there's a ghost, but even using the Spirit Scepter, I don't know what I do after. The face on the other side doesn't working and the lever is unattainable.

And in the right room (the Night one) there's a bridge that I can't to cross because of that Eye on the left. How do to cross it?

I'm trying for days, but nothing.
Any help?
Sorry for my english and happy new year!
Hey there, I've been playing Lakria Legends for about 23h now and I'm currently in Urumun village.
So far I've been enjoying this game so much, characters are great and the story is very interesting, but there's one thing that's bothering me a bit: in specific places (especially in Ishen and the Mirage Temple) the games lags a lot for example the character walks very slow and the message boxes take like 10 to 15 seconds to appear during a cut scene. I've tried to play the game on multiple laptops, but it kept lagging at the same places... I was just wondering if it's the game's fault or it's my laptops that suck because I've never had this problem with any other RPG before..
I can still play and enjoy the game, but those moments of lag are really irritating, but if there's nothing I can't do about it then I'll just try to get through the game like that. :)

awesome! just as your game xD
Thank you for kind words! I hope you enjoy the whole game all the way through! :D
lol me too, as long as I pass this blasted test of speed and ability. Follwed instructions, but 4th lever gives me timer of 2 and no stairs T T ...

Hmm, that's weird, that 4th lever that gives you the 2 second timer should be pulled last. It should be working for the most part I'm sure, haven't had anyone report any problems on that. Let me know if you're able to get past that!

Regarding 8-9 I didn't. I was just giving a possibility as to why I didn't get an S rank. I searched the whole tower numerous times and am fairly sure I got everything, but there is always the chance I overlooked something. If I did then I have no clue as to what. I don't know if their is any wiggle room for achieving an S rank or if you have to get everything, but in the mirage temple I got an S rank and later returned and found a max elixir in the chest on the hawk path, so their is or the mirage temple needs an extra chest count on the results screen.

1) Ren and Peace both have an attack called Steel Whirlwind. Very redundant.

2) Some of the watcher dialogue before you battle them is cut off on the right side of the screen. Most noticeable with the water frog guy, but also present on the others. Don't really remember which ones.

3) I see no reason why a player can't throw 400 more gold into the mermaid spot and change their gift, so they can experiment with their options and become familiar with them before being forced to make the second permanent choice at the Tower of Eden. Scratch this if in the end you get all the gifts.

4) It would be nice if their was an accessory/s one could get fairly early that
reduces the experience one gains to zero, so as to not feel like ones
overleveling or making the game too easy by hunting for gold or monster drops
or just for a challenge run of sorts.

5) When I tried the teleport in the void chamber that leads to the lone chest where all the crows are the game crashed with the file 15075_1116143456_run cannot be opened. I couldn't recreate this.

6) It seems like it's impossible to get an S rank in the Tower of Eden. Possible reasons below.

7) Right from the entrance of the tower in the room with a magic circle and a switch activated from dropping a rock from above is an area which looks like you can go down on the right side of the room. Maybe your supposed to be able too or maybe it's weird mapping.

8) The ranking results screen for the Tower of Eden is messed up. The items found count is completely blank.

9) I'm trash and have missed an item, but this is impossible as I do not simply miss items, especially when I've scoured the whole tower religiously.

1. Yeah, you're right. I've been meaning to change the names but I never did. It'll be changed though.

2. I'll look through those texts carefully and see if I can clean it all up

3. Hm, I figured two gifts would have compensated for not being able to switch the gifts out. But I'll see what I can do about this.

4. I didn't want the leveling to drag or feel like it takes forever. It seems like the grinding is kinda minimal, but the leveling is fairly quick. Adding an optional item could be good.

5. This should be an easy fix all around. Thanks for reporting that in!

6. I'll need to look through the results for this dungeon again, I was sure it was fine. If nothing pops out for the section of the result screen, you probably found more items than what it was looking for, I'll fix this up no problem!

7. I guess you can call that unintentional, that lower area leads nowhere else but it's just a platform

8-9. How did you figure you're missing an item? I will look into this overall
