Dear Sir Aria

This is a high priority letter.

Warning, this is Lilium Cazam, Director of Vizrel Secret Intelligence. We have been receiving increasing number of reports on citizens fainting in random occasions in Cliva for the past 2 months. While the cause of fainting is unknown, it is known that these people tend to faint in places where people do not travel often or are alone in forests at night.

Having looked at the patients, it would seem that they are attacked at random and display no signs of external or internal wound. Upon medical checkups, majority of them are in the pink of health. There are no pre-existing medical conditions in the patients that would cause them to faint randomly. Most of these patients are discharged 3 days after being hospitalized on average.

We're doing our best to figure out the root of such events and stop them.
While there appears to be no harm done, it is a public nuisance.
At least 2 tourists have been affected by the unknown phenomenon.

In the meantime while we're investigating, please inform the Merritus press to run an article about the events of 3 citizens fainting in 3 separate occasions over the course of 9 days. Make sure the article is written in such a way that our warning can only be conveyed to the public through reader's own association to prevent mass panic.

Thank you for your time.

Regards
Director of VSI
Lilium Cazam

Your avatar of Izayoi Sakamaki (not to be mistaken with Sakuya Izayoi) suggests that this game's concept is inspired by Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they? but I can't help but be reminded of Toaru Majutsu no Index as well due to the school Esper level-ranking.

Well, I better get around to playing some more (I've only just begun) because this seems like an update teaser.

Nope! Not one bit.
But the latter yes, much of the world building aspect of Black Galax has its ideas 'borrowed' from Toaru Majutsu no Index.
Mainly Science VS Magic.

I play Touhou in my spare time ;) One of the side quest is a shout out to the game and it is also linked to this update.
