A game about a kid and the monster under his bed.

"Bedtime is supposed to be a happy event for a tired child; for this child it was terrifying. While some children might complain about being put to bed before they have finished watching a film or playing their favourite video game, when he was a child, night time was something to truly fear."

The game, like many of my horror games, tries to scare you without too many of the typical "screamers", instead relying on atmosphere and suspense.

Based on a short story by Michael Whitehouse

Only the title I hope. There won't be frogs fighting cows or whatever that game seems to be about, hah.

Yea that game is weird. It's actually jellyfish with frog heads.

I did play through the demo though. Had a good scary time. I'll play it again when the full game comes out and leave a review.
Looks great! I normally don't play demos but I can't wait for this one. It's been a while since I played a decent RPG Maker horror game.

Is Reap and Sow cancelled or just on hold?
On hold until I figure out how to make the game run without lagging.
I really enjoyed this demo. Style, story, music and timing on audio effects are relly good.
But only 1 minor thing I found wierd is that you use word "stuff" a couple of times when you could easily go for more detailed description what there is in this or that locker, shelve etc. I mean it is not that important but its just a notice.
I really look forward to seeing how this develops. Graphics and sound design are both excellent, you've really succeeded at creating an unsettling atmosphere. You've quite a way with words, as well!

I do agree with badperson's critique, examining some of the objects only to be told 'it's just stuff' feels a bit too vague in my opinion--but that's just a niggling thing. The writing for the main narrative is really enjoyable.
Thanks, I'll check over descriptions for "stuff" and improve them.
If its okay, can i make a walkthrough of this game? :)
Sure, go ahead. Dunno if it's really needed though, I've made the only puzzles that was somewhat hard (or time consuming, really), the one in the 3rd dream, that was in the demo alot easier, and the rest was pretty easy to begin with.
But y'know there's always some that have problems anyway, so why not.
This game is awesome :) Very good work mate. Review submitted ;)

Just getting to all this RPG Maker stuff but I must say, that was a beautiful display of what a person can do with the right visuals; and an even more beautiful display of what a person can do with the right dialogue and plot. Well done sir. Couldn't stop playing even though I really wanted to.
Admittedly, I don't have much experience. But that was amazing. The visuals mixed with the plot to create a truly unsettling feeling that persisted the entire time. Well done sir.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. I hope you'll play the full game as well.

Welp, my skin's on too tight, because the "scares" weren't even jarring or whatever, they were just annoying. All that static+face did was make it harder to find those switches.
I didn't realize it, but my face was inching closer and closer to the screen during the labyrinth part. It made me very tense! The huge skull thing also looked amazing.

I like that there aren't any instructions or dialogue during the labyrinth scene. It feels very dreamlike that way.
Oh my God!
This is sooo cool!!!!
Incredibly scary but gripping!!!
