Generic RM2k3 RTP Gaming Fun!
I always wanted to make that game based on everything I enjoyed as a kid. This is the end result.
Hero's Realm creates a super-synergy of proactive features to create a gaming experience greater than the sum of its parts.
Lead four heroes and their teams against the evil forces of Mephistocles, the Lord of Demons in this retro-RPG adventure. Toggle between the four heroes as you explore dungeons, ascend towers, spelunk caves, save villages and defeat the forces of evil! Reminiscent of classic RPGs such as Dragon Quest III and Final Fantasy V, Hero's Realm is a fun romp in old-school RPG nostalgia.
-22 character classes (12 base classes, 4 hero classes, 3 secret classes, 3 master classes)
-TONS of game content and sidequests
-Classic NES-era and SNES-era RPG gameplay
-Great music
-Multi-party switching system (like Kefka's Tower in FFVI!)
-Multi-party tactical battles (at least 5 of them!)
-Massive world map
-Fun
The story is split into 5 chapters, with each of the first four chapters focusing on a new hero, and the 5th chapter bringing them all together.

I got a division by 0 error when facing Urok. Going to redo everything since last save, hopefully this same error doesn't happen again. Edit: Seemed to just be a fluke error, went through the same content a second time and this time I didn't trigger the error, strange.

Finished the game. It was a really great experience. I am looking forward to when you complete the enhanced version of this game, the heroic addition. If you put it on steam I would gladly buy it (assuming a reasonable price of course).

I finished the game, it was overall pretty good, the final boss was a joke though, I just had holdana equipped with the lightsabre, after using pummel holdana hit him 30 times in one attack, did that a couple of times and he was dead.
On this day 10 years ago, Hero's Realm v1.0 was released on RMN. Here's to another 10 years of not accomplishing anything of merit since!

No uh...I think, if this game lead to games likes BlackMoon Prophecy and Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass reaching wider audiences, I think there’s something of merit here. At the end of the day, people just want to play a really good game.
The only thing that held me back from playing Heroes Realm were the animations – Having said that, I'm also really looking forward to the commercial release for this. If you can do it, others will follow in your footsteps.

An excellent game you did! Unfortunately, I'm unable to enter Chapter 5: the initial cutscene blocks just after was announced "The grand Guru Poobah... Pablo". I tried to download again the game (v1.5) and its patches, but to no avail.
Do you have any suggestion? An address to post my last save (just before entering Sudash) maybe ?
I'll be very grateful for your help!

Hmmm... I can't recall off the top of my head what error might be occurring there, but if you send me your savefile I can take a look. You can go to your personal locker here on RMN to upload it (go to your username in the upper left > Locker > Upload Files), then send me a PM or a link to it and I can download it and try to figure it out.

Okay, the way that scene was programmed, Pablo doesn't actually appear until after his short theme song plays. It is about 15 seconds long. But if somehow the check to see if the themesong has played once is failing, it could get stuck in an infinite loop. It worked for me in my quick test, though.
1. Try again, waiting for 15+ seconds to see if he shows up
2. Try replacing this map in the main folder- I changed the check to be just a 15second wait instead: https://rpgmaker.net/users/kentona/locker/Map0387.lmu
3. If that still doesn't work, I did save the game after the cutscene. If you would like to know what happened, let me know and I can fill in the story details: https://rpgmaker.net/users/kentona/locker/Save08.lsd

Does anyone know of a font file i can download? I can barely make out the words and i followed the instructions and downloaded the correct file
