A surprise announcement
It’s my fault that you didn’t manage to win anything. I’m a complete jinx whenever it comes to picking games for anything award related and I have this dark cloud that’s been following me around lately that’s been giving me nothing but trouble as of late. It seems like with everything that I happen to personally like and enjoy that they often get shafted by the overwhelming majority. But, hey, at least you managed to get 3rd place overall for GOTY! That’s pretty impressive stuff. In fact, considering that Oneshot, Dreaming Mary and Enelysion were probably my three favorite games that I played from last year (well, besides Super Talking Time Bros. 2.5 – The Last Levels, but that one is an oldie), I’d say everything worked out for the best.
Also, hyper-realistic Laine in pretty green outfit is uber cute. But I’m wondering what the heck is that thing behind her shoulder - is that a hand? It must be either Siglud trying to get to first base again or he’s trying to get a lick in of that pasta-looking dish from behind her. :P
- And hells yeah I want a sequel, or even a prequel for that matter. Of course I want the “Misadventures Of Siglud And Cillian” to become a reality – but anything that you decide to do would be just fine by me.

Siglud’s definitely one of my favorites! And if he’s happy in this game after three years of marital bliss – then so am I. :)
Actually, to be honest, I’m actually quite surprised that he’s even manage to last that long, especially being settled down to someone like Laine (must be the good ol’ Siglud charm).
Anyways, I look forward to seeing what you can do in 2015. But...just don’t work too hard, though. ^^

Wow, that was fast. I’ll have to give this one a try over the weekend. Thank god I still have my VX RTP somewhere on my computer still when I had to download it originally to play Enelysion all that time back. Good thing it's still there, though.

It sure does feel like all that happened such a long time ago when it was only, what, a couple of months ago? Either way, I’m glad that things turned out the way that they did and you decided to press onwards through the thick of things when things could have gone in a much uglier route.
I mean, in an alternate reality somewhere, I wonder what the featured game for December would have been for Universe 2 instead of this one? (My bet would have been on this)

Aw…I feel so incredibly touched. Makes me think that this whole writing reviews stuff is finally paying off dividends. Although this whole achievement is entirely on you, I’m just glad that nhubi and I, and everybody else that was also involved, could help you in any way possible. :)
This was also an interesting read because prior to 2013 I had never heard much about this game or most of its developmental backstory before then. Although, to be fair, I never visited sites like VX.net or HBGames back then in the day, so that’s probably why I never previously heard of it before.
Also, lol @ the old Cillian and Siglud portraits compared to their current ones now. I mean, LMAO – what the hell has happened to them throughout the years? I’m guessing that axe to the head did more than just change Siglud whole mental personality, as he went from more than beyond dashing to just looking and acting like a plain, ol’ bumbling goofball. And I’m guessing that Siglud’s slow descention into stupidity had slowly finally taken a toll on Cillian both mentally and physically over the years because, lol – just look at him! He was actually smiling and looked quite handsome back then! Oh man, these two clowns just keep getting better and better the more I see and read about them. You really oughta do a side story with just them being the main characters in the future.
Anyways, go and get your well-deserved rest. You deserve it.

Cutscenes can no longer be skipped.
Well…as long as they’re kept as short and as brief as possible at times I don’t really mind this. However, I would personally keep the option to do so, especially if you died on a particular boss fight (like against Avinchii for the 8th time in a row in the Eos Shrine) so I don’t have to see the whole “Look out, Laine - IT’S COMING STRAIGHT FOR US” scene again for the thousandth time. (Although that one was pretty short.)
All equipment now display the stats instead of a description. More useful for the player, especially when purchasing.
Doesn’t it already show the after effects of equipping a certain item on the right side when you’re about to purchase it in a shop anyways? I know it does on the equipment screen, but I can’t remember if it does so in shops.
ALL enemy stats have been overhauled. There is now a gradual difficulty increase,from very easy in the beginning to a fair challenge by endgame.
This kinda of scares me a little... (Although, to be fair, most of the earlier encounters, especially once you get Cillian and Siglud in your party, are quite easy, so maybe this is a good thing.)
Nerfed Cillian's Piercing Thrust, since it has a Stun after-effect.

Dropped the MP cost of Siggy's skills. Since his base MP and maximum is pretty low.
...Okay, that's a good alternative, at least.
All this featured gam talk makes one awfully nervous (I lurk there sometimes, like a fly on the wall ).

Hopefully the month of December will be your lucky month. Until then, we’ll do what we can to get in order to get Laine’s splendid mug plastered all over the front page, not just the buzzing section.
As for some of the changes, I don’t like some of them, but most of them seem fair enough.
