I think it’s just an increase in difficulty with some more additional puzzles added in with an alternate ending. It’s been a while since I last played this game, so I’m not entirely sure.

@ Katie - You can always hit Alt + ENTER to manually adjust the screen size from fullscreen to windowed version at any time you wish. As for using a controller to run or jump over obstacles, I think you can right click on the application and change the controller functions separately, either that or you'll have to manually adjust the keys on your controller using the software that was provided with your controller to match the keyboard settings that are in the game.

There’s one more glitch that I happened to find regarding Jasmine and returning to Mt. Ordeals during the third world map:

Lol, yeah, I remember seeing that and also going like “WTF?”
I think this was purely unintentional, as he was probably supposed to be removed for this section but UPRC just plumb forgot about it. Whatever. Just keep it the way it is for him still being in there. It's hilarious.

Apparently, if you bring Jasmine here, you’ll end up doing the solo character trials with her still being on the team for all of the battles. Hell, I even found it weird that I can participate in some of the trials without even unlocking certain characters for it first. For example, I didn’t manage to re-recruit Oalston at all during my playthrough (since I never used him that much) but was still able to do his trial with him along with ol’ Jassy here fighting by his side. When I left Mt. Ordeals, Jasmine ended up being in the leader position with Vahn being regulated back to secondary role. Of course, returning to the Rift Shrine and removing Jasmine manually from the party fixes this, but it’s something that you might want to look into. It’s not as bad as the Cave Of Dreams glitch, but it’s still a noteworthy glitch.
(Besides, I’m actually glad that I had Jasmine with me for the Oalston trial, ‘cause I probably would have died without her, lol.)

Also, in Branch Castle in the third world, the scholar is still in the library, acting as if everything is perfectly normal. Could it be his ghost, still lingering, still thinking he's alive and carrying out his job normally?!
