Well done AeroGP, you are automatically more respectable than anyone who said RPG Maker.

Don't see any games from you, though!

It's not finished, but I might make a thread about it...

STOP POSTING HERE SO MUCH

EDIT: I have little emotional control, and cannot be reliably expected to contribute to anything for any number of reasons: a lack of apathy, a stubborn attachment to my own opinion/belief, a plain lack of interest, etc.

I post most often here because it has the most things for someone like me to do, and even then I don't post here that often, either.

The only hypothetical question that matters...for game developers who are also grownups.

If I had the means to dig myself out of any potential "hole" I dig myself into at "such-and-such" location, then yes, I'd leave in a heartbeat. No sooner and no later.

Your Game Maker

I use Game Maker.

What?

(I can also program in C++ and C to an extent)

Smash Bros. Tier List

I think it's shitty that supposedly evenly matched players win with certain characters, however, I don't think any 'Tiers are for Queers' movement matters at all. This isn't a social construct; there is (hopefully?) organized and collected data that supports these lists, and if they turn out to be true, there's no disputing it.

Tournament data.

Grammar Lesson to the Masses

Good vs. Well.

Well is an adverb, good is an adjective. They cross when used to described "wellness" (i.e: "I don't feel good"; "I don't feel well"), but otherwise good describes nouns ("This is a good banana.") and well describes verbs ("This brake pedal works really well"), except for sensations ("The banana tastes good," not "The banana tastes well.")

Nobody made a review yet?

This game is very well made. For an hour or so, you get a great deal of variety, level-building aspects, and that socialization factor common amongst sims. The presentation is fresh and stands out amongst most RPG Maker games. I felt, though, that having to pick an area to explore was like taking a shot in the dark, and as a result it didn't feel all that rewarding, especially those moments when you found nothing but got launched into combat anyways.

Also, It didn't take rocket science for me to realize, after looking at how focus increases, that those red orb shields those specific enemies emit at times could jack up my focus really high if I just sat there with my shield up. And unfortunately they did, so I already had max focus after the second fight. ;_;

Still, great job. I was entertained, and that's important. =)

Smash Bros. Tier List

No matter what you think and no matter what you do, certain characters are in fact better than others. As long as you don't use it as an excuse to not improve your skills, it's fine. You can still win a match-up if you're just flat out better than your opponent, but don't fool yourself into believing your both playing on even footing.

Using a lower-tier character takes talent, but you're still handicapped against the better characters. That's all tiers are supposed to represent; "queers" are those idiots who use tiers as the end-all-be-all of gaming because they don't know the meaning of "risk=reward."

Guess the Game!!!
