Hello, I´m writing this on 2022 February.
I am Akari the peanut. I love indie rpg games since many many years ago, I played them a lot. I wanted to contribute to them, so I started doing reviews for many other games, which was tiring but made me very happy.
I won´t be active here ´til new notice. I will connect sometimes to chat and read messages, but no more than it. Life, my friend. Life is what happens, and I am not the youth that played these games and wrote these reviews.
However, I am very very happy to have been actively in this community and helped it´s grow, no doubt. My time spent here was fruitful.
¿Do you know that this word means a lot from me? Fruitful. So many things I´ve been doing in former jobs and my actual job, in past relationships and friendships, that have had not even get close to the meaning these games offered me.
This was worth living.

SIAM
I just finished SIAM, good job! it was a very interesting game. Different from the usual games I´ve played before.
I saw a reference to Eve No Jikan, I bet that helped a bit on inspirating this game? That movie also referenced robots and humans communicating on equal terms. Interesting!
The play-work system was quite repetitive and, yeah, boring/tiring, but I though that was part of the message; that was all about the android´s (software, robot) life and meaning. Maybe one reason for it´s unhappiness was his high intelligence compared to the tasks he was assigned to. And it´s an interesting concept that a software can have "friends" or can "earn money" (bits) in order to get things that it "desires". It can even read news! Why would a software/robotic existence would even want to read news?
So maybe the problem was that software was being treated as a human in some aspects or possessed a degree of human intelligence.
Getting to know the external world through SIAM talks was quite interesting as well. It makes me also think how connections are important nowadays.
EDIT: Oh, please do something about that background soundtrack. Makes me dizzy, it´s the same sound over and over again, while I insert codes upon codes.... how about adding a mute-option or a music-selection option with, say, three songs? (or buying them wih bits) Personally I like being able to mute music and play with sounds only

Good article liberty, and special emphasis in the first two points, since they are way more important than one usually would think.
In the step 2, think it would be good to state or imagine an audience and prepare the cover /first impressions accordingly. For example, I saw people likes characters beautifully portrayed and edgy colours in famous horror games so I'll include a bit on that on my horror game cover, dunno.

Great! Even though I liked this game, I indeed though it was tedious with the complex interface, I think this is a step forward.

DAMNN YASSSS!!! I´ve logged in right on time for this, dammit. It´s great that we´re having a new mascot character, I love it. I have my favorites but I´ll be happy just to have one. Feeling a little sad for the members who aren´t logging lately that they´ll miss this though.
I think it´s not a good idea to bring porn into this. I mean, rule 34 bro. Besides in a worldwide forum the exact meaning of the words loses some sense. In Chile, we call mascot "mascota" (pet) probably because of the similar writing. For sport teams we say the team´s pet and stuff, so gijinka and mascot are pretty much the same thing to us ~themoreyouknow~

I'm just saying, there's definitely porn of both, but there's a lot more porn of gijinka.
Like if you have a slice of cheese and a sheet of paper, fewer people are gonna look at the paper and immediately think, "Oh, yeah, I'd eat that."
