I also recognized the art style for some but couldn't place what game from the series it was.

I'm even later, but I'll do it!
1. Finish the demo of the silly RPG I'm working on
2. Release version 1.0 of "Saffron", my graphics framework
3. Fix the roof in my grandpa's woodshop
4. Actually finish a TTRPG campaign I'm running instead of it running out of steam.
I would put "Play and finish Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" on there, but that's going to happen whether I set it as a goal or not.

I feel like maybe we all need to be posting more to be able to do something smarter, but then again it's D1 and I think we're all a bit rusty (or at least I am after not playing for over a year).
I would also like to hear Eggbert's response to this before hammer or end-of-day. To be honest though, just not that much had happened yet when Eggbert voted. I'll try to be around tomorrow morning, more folks need to speak up.

Since he's the only one who put out a real vote, let me ask this: What was it about their post that drew you into voting the same way?

Is it me or is it weird that everyone cast a vote with their first post?
I think that's pretty normal? People throw around some some joke or obviously flimsy votes to get the ball rolling on D1, before we choose someone to actually lynch on purpose.
Speaking of which, we have less than 20 hours now, and we need to get a lynch going pretty quick here.

Btw Emily, what even is the point of the priest role?
The existence of an additional town role that wasn't particularly useful or tremendously bad was specifically for balancing the Private Eye. At 9 players, I wanted three roles that came up as "vanilla", one for each faction, but I didn't really want to mess with the overall balance much more.
For why Priest in particular, remember that game that Muffle ran? Where I claimed Priest and it went really badly? I picked Priest as the "almost vanilla but the Private Eye will be likely to think they are not mafia" role as a little joke based on that.
I kind of think this was a bad idea in retrospect, after the game started I was a bit worried there would be metagaming based on that. Fortunately it actually didn't happen (probably because no one remembered), so at least I was saved from ruining the game in that way.
