I'm a hobbyist game maker. I like making games as both a hobby and a challenge. I'm currently trying to make a game using the Linear Motion Battle System similar to Tales of Eternia. If you are interested, check out my youtube of the progress! Located here:

Indeed. I had to get a second opinion if the change was justified or not. It was apparently, so I set about doing it. Took me two days haha, I did it in short bursts.

Behold! An old concept poster drawn by Nessiah. Yeah, I know, I colored it with MS paint, so.... let the assault begin! I'd have Nessiah color/texture it properly, but it's not known yet whether or not we'll use this piece.
Difficult Boss Battles, Skippable Cutscenes, and Rage
Why not give the player a choice if they want to restart the battle in the same state as when they started FFMQ style?
I'm using this mechanic currently. Not just boss battles, but in every battle. If you die, you can restart the same battle from the same state you entered, (minus any items you used before you died). It's a great time saver rather then just getting a GAMEOVER and losing hours of work.

Changed the game's menu font. The uploaded pictures still show the old font though. Might get around to deleting them and uploading the pics with the new font sometime.

How tolerant are you to legitimately difficult bosses?
Yes. AFRAID. That is the feeling Legaia bosses brought with them. Remember Jette? Or perhaps Ratayu? (The dude who consumed women). Yeah. And man, the most awesome yet terrifying at the same time, The 3 separate fights you do with the 3 siblings.
It wasn't. You're missing out. I really disliked the battle music (so different from the first), but the BATTLE SYSTEM was spot-on Legaia goodness. (Esp when you unlock the coliseum hehe)
I wish I'd gotten my ps2 early enough to try out the second one, but I haven't heard anything about it, so it was probably crap.

RMN3 Bugs
I thought it was only the thumbnail too, but its not, its the actual image. I tried both refresh and hard refresh (ctrl-f5). Nothing.

Hmm, this is really weird. When I add an image in my gamepage, then I delete that image, and upload ANOTHER, DIFFERENT image with the same name, the image that i deleted is once again displayed in the gamepage. Like... what? Does RMN keep the images even after you delete them or something? I then have to delete that image from the gamepage again, go to my documents, change the new image name (like add an "a" or something) and reupload it, and only then does the new image show up.
