Also Mindflare seems pretty badass, albeit the lighting-effect spams. My biggest pet-peeve, though, is with your gamemaking philosophy. It sort of turns me off. What is it with people developing only for the sake of other people playing their game? Don't people get any sort of enjoyment out of the development process? If not, gamemaking probably isn't your thing. :-X
Well Nessiah was the one of like three people who really told me anything after playing it. =/ Most of the stuff I make while playing around with RPGMaker turns into random tech demos, not actual games.
This is really my only solo project as I usually work with YDS.

This is strange. I used to get a similar error for games that were locked into a single .exe, but I didn't do that. I have no clue why this happens. =/

I just tried to give mindflare a go, though after it got past the opening credit-type-things, like, fifty 'Not Implemented' error messages flooded my screen. Thankfully, the eventually all closed themselves (along with the game >.>) but... This is a bit of a problem, one I've not seen before.

-Yeah, it ends rather abruptly, and I know it's short.
-It's not that dark ingame. The actual game doesn't contrast with the light forum backgrounds and it's full screen.
-PLEASE give me feedback or I'll probably end up dropping this game.

Due to the resurfacing of a multitude bugs I eliminated back in NOVEMBER...
The graphics are really dull and they don't give the feeling of a western, y'know? I mean, you could definitely find a westerny background for that calendar, and also liven up some of your maps.
It seems pretty well thought out though. It shows some promise.
That game Dyne was making is something you should look at. I don't remember what it's called (Western Story? idk), but it had a great feel to it.
