So about this Wikileaks thing...What do you think?
I hate Obama because his policies are wrong if not plain naked evil. His race (half-white and raised by white grandmother) is completely fucking irrelevant! Stop getting distracted by shiny things. All Obama's political power base comes from the white liberal elite. He is at best Bill Clinton in Blackface.
There is a line in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy that says something along the lines of "The job of the president is not to wield power but to distraction attention away from it."
I'm seriously beginning to wonder just how true that line is.

We really should avoid talking politics on this forum. I really can't think of a faster way to destroy whatever friendships and community we've built up over years of effort.
I could post an angry four or five page rant about the state of the world but what would that accomplish other that getting everyone all worked up and I come to RMN mainly to avoid these sort of discussions.
But I will say this much. The people getting hurt by Wikileaks are the same people responsible for starting... (Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia...) I count five wars and there's at least two more that they are seriously thinking about with Iran and Nigeria. Oh yeah and they plunged the world into a second great depression as a tiny minor side effect. I say fuck them, fuck them good.

I really have trouble seeing how people could not support Wikileaks. America really is a world empire and the sooner Americans can bring themselves to admit that the better. God forbid people be forced to face an unpleasant truth, when a good well prepared lie will do just as well.
