There's a staff born every minute

author=AtiyaTheSeeker
Aaaaaaa congrats LBR! They couldn't have picked a better staff member, if you ask me. I'm one of many who's glad you'd returned.

Agreed! I can't think of any staff promotion more deserving.

I have to thank LBR even for helping with motivation to finish my own game - he exudes so much passion for RPGMaker, even after more than a decade, it's contagious. xD

In the meantime, looking forward to the 2020 Misasos. Glad to see the Rm2k3 representation still going.

where's the Like button??

Still patiently waiting for someone to write it into the code xD

Atrium room for an early cave dungeon. Does the lighting feel natural enough, or too overblown?

Giznads: Outstanding job. :D It's been a very long time since I've seen such a perfect meshing of transparency overlays, small animations, panning etc; all coming together for a striking scene. I'm beyond excited to finally play Nihilo. XD

Not too much to show off on my end. In the process of updating some older maps with tileset updates. Namely, a thicker & more pronounced grass.

Dungeons, Menus, Puzzles, Progress!

The UI Text does a serviceable job, actually. May eventually want to clean up the SU Logo font tucked off on the side though. XD

First cutscene + some battle system progress

Looking so fantastic! The transition to GameMaker is well justified. The fluidity of the sprites, battling, camera movements etc are more pristine than ever before.

Moonsong: First Verse

So glad to see this has been finished! You must feel a great sense of accomplishment, bud.

Some slow movement

Looks amazing! So glad to see you're carrying on with this - I wasn't sure where things ended up.

The new maps looks especially crisp in that GIF. Going with a combo of Refmap/original tiles gives this game some extra visual impact. And Andoru's sprite - perfect!

Messing around with mapping. Revamping some stuff for my old post-apocalyptic rpg.

IMG

Absolutely stunning. Looks like a map I'd see on GW etc during the golden age of 2k3. So much polish.

If anything, I'd lower the brightness on the dirt/terrain just a tiny bit, as it looks more saturated than everything else here - unless that was the effect you intended.

The Legend Of Zelda (Mystical Harps) DEMO

Not sure why this game hasn't been noticed yet! Has quite a lot of polish and charm for a Zelda fangame. Any idea when the development might restart?
