And I can't really call the black knight Hero, when he's the bad guy.

I think I actually kinda may have maybe liked Navi's constant "HEY, LISTEN!"s, like it was an integral part of the epic soundtrack, and it probably wouldn't be the same without.

Since I´m living in Sweden, we´ve had this game for a while. Quite good. I didn´t like some parts about the battle system, but I can recommend it (I haven´t finished the game however). I would recommend playing with the japanese voices since the english ones, in my opinion, doesn´t cut it.
You can choose the japanese voice overs? That's cool, not a lot of games have that, when they totally should. One thing that I wondered was if you can use a gamecube controller, or does it have to be the classic one?
Just noticed The Last Story is also available already, but I'll wait till it's ~15€, probably won't take that long.

Yeah, but don't let his disoriented looks fool you! He is a lot stronger than regular, non drunk dwarves! :P

Cartography: World Map Revamp
Baldur's Gate II is one of my favorite games (finished it 8 times!), so really liking the look of your world map (and game). Some locations seem to be a bit too cluttered, however, which could be a problem when navigating.
Also, is there a chance of events happening, when traveling from one location to another? Loved those in BGII.

I think that is really nice : the colors, the forms of the tile, looks great.

the dirt tile is fine. generally when you have a basic floor tile that's everywhere you really want to keep things simple, especially for a basic art style like this.
Thanks for the comments. After experimenting with those stupid cave tiles for 3 days, I can't even tell anymore.

I'm surprised to realize that there hasn't really been an RPG Maker game where you play as monsters. I think there was one about Bob the Minotaur but that's only one example really. Cool to see that it's in VX.
Yeah, surprised me as well. So much in fact that I'll make monsters the protagonists of at least two more games! :P

I like how the Goblin is called Golbin. I really like the vibe this game gives off - can't exactly put my finger on what it is so luring, though.
If I had to give him an actual name, it'd take me at least another month to finish this game. Hate coming up with names, and I still need a gender neutral one for the black knight. T_T
