Oh come on stop it, everyone has been a douche at least once in our life, celes, just focus on doing your games and following rmn "rules" (Submissions and Game profile rules I guess)that there are few, and as for Deckiller, well you are one of the admin, so I just will say it was a little imprudent to post that here so don't hate me.
Thank you for providing the Rules. And I'm actually being really serious. I couldn't find them for the life of me because I wanted to see where to find this "RMN doesn't support commercial games".

I thought this was a recruitment thread... I won't talk any more about the changes to the game that I am rightfully making. If you don't like the idea, there are many other great fan games out there. Blackmoon Prophecy is one of them. Great game.

I wasn't depressed o_O I was stating facts. You guys most likely won't see this game until 2015 if I don't do this. Maybe even later. I've been working on this game since 2007, and it's had remake after remake across every RPG Maker except VX. I'm getting sick of the game itself and I think it's time for me to change it. This is my choice and I am going with it =) In a business you have to take a risk. Also, anyone ever heard of Breath of Death VII, Cthulhu, and Rain Slick 3? Made by the same guy and they are indie. And Rain Slick resembles FF6 very much so. I know most people want the game for free and that's why I'm being told this, but I think I deserve more than what I'm getting now.

Well of course I'm not expecting 30,000 dollars =P 5000 dollars is fine and will fund the game just fine. The graphics don't need to be drastic, HD, or anything like that. And most of the music is already made and the original creator doesn't want money for them. He said if I can complete the game, that's all that will make him happy haha. And since I got most of the story down, I just need someone helping me put it together better. If worst comes to worse with thing's like sound effects, I'll just use RMVXACE's defaults. They aren't that bad. Scripter/programmer is really the only thing I'm worrying about. But if I can get $5000, then I should be good. I see a lot of stupid stuff on Kickstarter that get funded like 20,000 dollars. I think this will be a success! And seeing money there will bring more inspiration. I think this is a great idea ^_^!
