RPGS... you've beaten
--Final Fantasy I, VI
--Xenosaga I, III
--Last Scenario
--Shadow Hearts 2
--Harry Potter (GBA) 1 and 2
--Ara Fell
--Chrono Trigger
I'm very close to beating FFV, probably will this week. I'm also replaying FF6 currently. Some DQ8 on and off, but I don't really have time for non-handheld games without compromising my beauty sleep.
To be honest I actually just replay games over and over again. I keep save files at the end of the game so that I can re-beat it... I really like to "beat" Last Scenario once a month or so, and it's always fun to summon Dark Erde Kaiser to slaughter the final boss in Xenosaga III.
EDIT: AND DINK SMALLWOOD
It is funny because I was 11 and had no idea that it was all a sexual joke. WHAT KIND OF BEES MAKE MILK? Like my mother said "boobies" and I was like "blue bees?"
I guess it shows now, too. ;_;

Torrents: Do you?
I don't use torrents, although iishenron tries to get me to download episodes of Hard Gay. The reason? When I download something, it's either an RM* game, a resource for an RM* game, or an amusing picture. Nothing exactly torrent-worthy.

As much as I hate to support the Tales Of series, Mieu in TotAbyss was pretty amusing as a comedic character. Maybe I'm just not used to little Japanese creatures with big eyes that get consistently abused. It could also have been because he is an actual character with actual emotions/feelings/actions/story time and not just Funny Fire-Breathing Creature With High-Pitched Voice That Lets You Solve Puzzles.
I don't really play enough jRPGs, though. My comments aren't worth very much since I only really play FF, DQ and Xenosaga.
For those of you who have played Xenosaga 3 (...brandon and I?), please answer this question: Was the ultimate villain (the person, not the final boss) ridiculously awesome in their methods used to be the ultimate villain?
I'd come right out and say such methods, but I don't feel like spoilering anything and I'm not sure the game has been out for long enough to be throwing out major plot twists. :<

So I bought a copy of Suikoden V
The game is easy throughout, but I remember one dungeon that was like WTFHARDZOMGDIE. I only had enough money to buy one super-armor... so I equipped it on Leon and used that battle tactic where everybody is behind her in this giant line. It was pretty ridiculous.

Then you're a fag-loving fag.
Illustrious: Yes, the presentation is pretty great. I actually haven't finished yet but I'm very far in. Every scene has been like WOAH COOL.
And there's also that early-on double twist that basically makes you sit down and play for another 20 hours. WIP: Do not start this game when you have life to attend to.
That said, the difficulty fluctuates really harshly. Whatever, that's what everybody's favorite rune is for!

Final Wilfredsy
...really? I would fight for correct documentation of my project if it were posted with faulty information. Well, except for the rm2k3-is-illegal dealie, now that you bring it up. But yeah I'm weird and dislike bad advertising, even in a hobby where good advertising is near impossible.

Etrian Odyssey is cool because you can make your own cutscenes in your mind. HR is a little different because the demons are like HU HU HU YOU COME TO DESTROY ME and all that... EO does no such of a thing, at least where I am. Not even a little bit of possible motivation is suggested for your party; NPCs only tell you to "go there to get the Hauberk mmmkay????"
On the other side of the ledger: I remember Brick once noted in one of his articles or reviews or something that everybody hates Selphie because she's annoying. This makes her a good character because you have reasons to think so based on her actions and emotions, not just LOLBUBBLYGIRL. He also states that you can take any two FF8 PCs and imagine the conversation that could happen between them.
To expand on that, I recently began replaying Xenosaga III. While I'm skipping most of the cutscenes, I've been watching enough to remind myself of several neat dialouges between unexpected characters: Jin and Allen, for example, have a series of discussions throughout the game. In most RPGs, Allen would talk to Shion and Shion only since she is the love interest/protagonist and he is just a silly NPC. Instead, he actually talks with the PCs on a regular basis. Other random yet somewhat important NPCs get scenes with random characters, making everyone seem much more alive and realistic. The exception is KOS-MOS, who really only talks to Shion and chaos (and only a little bit to the latter). This works, though, since she's an "emotionless" android with a really high STR stat.
And finally, an aside about Farris! She is also my favorite FF5 character but usually has low HP due to being a thief, time mage or dancer 99% of the time. Lenna, however, really likes switching between the monk and dragoon classes (although right now she's a black mage with the lance ability... heh heh heh...). As for character design.... Well, in FF5A they really nailed Butz's and Galuf's dialouge down! <3
