Seeking Romancing SaGa enemy sprites

http://tsukuru.pl/index.php?link=set&plik=zasoby/2kmonster/rsg3

Complete RS-G3 monster set (it's missing some monsters never used in the game, but for which sprites had been made; I have those too, just never uploaded them. They're mostly recolors though). I never ripped RS-G 1/2 monsters precisely because they were all available on that Japanese site, but alas, it's gone now.

EDIT: Good news. I've actually saved all the RS-G 1/2 pages and have all the monster sprites. I'll zip and upload them tomorrow.

To Arms!

How's the game coming along? When can we expect the full release?

Super RMN Bros. 2

I uploaded my first map ever (Up and Down). It's very simple and very easy (1/5), just me fooling around and trying out options.

I must say I hate the map editor, it's very clunky; RM map editor is years ahead of this thing. On the other hand the editor itself's extremely easy to handle, very user-friendly.

The Great Switch: Why VXP is Better

When you have something like 10 rooms, and rooms that aren't exactly spacious, it's a good workaround. When you have an RPG with more than 50 maps making each as a panorama is a torture. And what about tiles that obstruct the sprites? You have to put them into the chipsets and if you run out of room... tough luck.

In any case I don't feel like doing all that extra work just because some idiots at Enterbrain fucked up the map editor.

The Great Switch: Why VXP is Better

The one reason I won't touch VX with a ten-foot pole is the chipset fail. I have a feeling that with VX Enterbrain took one step forward in terms of actual game design features, and ten step backwards in terms of visuals. The decision to disallow infinite chipsets is baffling, I simply cannot comprehend why anyone though it'd be a good idea. All it results in is that, like, 99% of games use RTP and there's no incentive to go beyond that.

Eyes Without a Face Review

What I don't like about this game is that it has no connection to the source material beyond the theme of face transplantation. Even Manos was closer to the original - though the action was different (although not to the same extent as in EWaF), at least the characters were the same. EWaF doesn't even get the mood right! So I don't see how it fits into the theme of the event.

Another gripe of mine is that there's no real gameplay here. It's just "go from room to room and trigger cutscenes". That's neither scary nor exciting, and it all feels more like an extended cutscene than a game.

Apart from all that I enjoyed the game. For something made in such a short time span it's good. Although only good enough for 3 stars.

This thread gets a thumbs-down from me!

MANOS: The Hands of Fate

Whew, it took me a few hours but I've managed to finish this three times, that is enough times to get the secret ending.

Questions:
- what's the deal with the empty chest?
- does the secret ending differ based on which character you choose?

Overall, a nice game. I've yet to see Manos, but I doubt it's as intense as this game.

Scary Movie

There is at least one - Manos: the Hands of Fate. Eyes Without a Face should also be uploaded soon, so that makes two.
