So I'll take that number.

Bun-Bo Forum RPG

Start of Adventure / Character Sheets

halibabica / Rashers
Rashers is surrounded by jostling robots. They are bumping into each other during erratic movement patterns. The room is lit by an open door facing WEST, and to the SOUTH there is a small mouse-shaped hole in the wall.
The West exit is swimming with motion and music. Disco music or some such nonsense. Occasionally a record comes pinwheeling into the room that Rashers is standing.

Hexatona / Milo
As Milo settles into a reclining chair, bowls of various snacks pulled close, a giant flat-screen television begins to emerge rapidly from the floor...

Shinan / Wilton
Wilton leaps into action. The flurry of blows is so rapid, that a cloud of dust picks up and surrounds both Wilton and the record player. They are in a Fight.
Wilton easily dispatches the machine, dismantling the trapped device entirely.

The Disco Music has ended!

However, one last record fires off at a random angle...

Hahn McAvian
Hahn pokes a curious beak towards the ruckus in the music room, but a stray record clocks him in the head.
CRACK!
Which sends Hahn McAvian staggering backwards through the Vestibule. On his backwards journey, Hahn steps accidentally on the elevator button which activates the spring-loaded elevator device. However, as Hahn is halfway off the platform, it only manages to send him cartwheeling into the room opposite the music room; the television room!
As he cartwheels backwards, Hahn is caught by the rapidly elevating television, which launches him into the ceiling.
CRASH!

Hahn McAvian is now a pancake plastered to the ceiling. He will be unconscious for 3 Turns. None of you have noticed his presence.

The television begins to play a cartoon about a serpent, a cow and a frog in the Wild Wilds in the West.

Black Panther vs Black Lightning!

Black Lightning is an old property that has faded into obscurity.
The similarity in names is simply due to the times it was created. Black Panther went through many renaming until they finally just stuck with Black as the first word. A lot of characters had the word Black before their second word. It is a comic book coincidence that two characters have a spotlight on them at the same time. It could have been Black Cat, Black Canary, Black Bolt, Black Bird, Black Widow, Blackout, etc.

RPG MAKER 95

I cut my teeth on RM95+.
Really love how simple and accessible it is. If any newcomer wants to dig around in the RM hobby, I would always recommend finding a copy of 95(+). It's a good base-level showcase on how to make an RPG. Then the later versions are great too, but much more complex. It could probably be pretty overwhelming. 95 has the opposite problem. It's underwhelming, in a good way.

Also, my favourite thing about it is the party system! When you add a member to your party, they follow you around like a snake. No extra coding necessary.

halibabica / Rashers will be unconscious for 2 Turns.
Uh? Shouldn't I have just woken up? Everyone but Hahn was unconscious for 2 turns already.

Sorry, hali. I was in a mad rush out the door the other day and tried to post too rapid-fire. Fixed!

What are you thinking about right now?

I found RPG Maker 3 at a pawn shop for PS2. It lets you make 3D RPGs. I couldn't afford it at the time, and will likely go back to grab it. But, like, why the hell does the PS2 version have 3D graphics, and everything on PC has been getting worse and worse and worse? The little cube-shaped chibis are boring! I want that 3D engine, dang it. It's on PS2, so the ability to share your file is extremely limited short of emulation. And even then... Ugh!

Shinan / Wilton
Wilton, blinking blearily, looks around the Music Room. First this way, then that way. The haze of sleepiness not preparing him for the onslaught of records flying around the room.
As his eyes catch a glimpse of something moving towards the front door of the house, a record smacks right into his mouth, leaving him with a fake toothy smile. Half the record stuck in his jowls.
-3 Damage!

Hexatona / Milo
The room Milo sees is a long rectangular place. Decorated with 5 Ming Vases, 2 Comfy chairs, and a large comfortable sofa with reclining seats. In front of the sofa stands a coffee table laden with bowls of fresh popcorn, and a variety of candy in bowls.
There is also an arcing black line about 2 inches thick that runs the length of the room in front of the coffee table.
On the other end of the room, Milo can see a north-facing window, and in the west wall is another doorway.
Nothing seems to be dangerous here.
+1 Plot Point!

halibabica / Rashers will be unconscious for 2 Turns. is now awake!

What are you thinking about right now?

I think that ivoryjones should play the next Bun-Bo RPG adventure. :D

Consoles & Favourite Games

Whew, this is going to be a lame list, but okay.

NES
Super Mario Bros 3
-Although, I played the crap out of Tetris and still do on my phone via emulator.

Sega Genesis
Earthworm Jim
-The style and zaniness blew my world wide open. I was so used to 'safe' content, and here is this balls-to-the-walls crazy cartoon game. Talk about love.
-Ecco the Dolphin, Vectorman, Sonic & Knuckles, Mortal Kombat, Humans... there're so many good games on Genesis. BLAST PROCESSING

Sega Game Gear
Sonic Drift 2
-Played this game so much while waiting for someone to pick me up after school. Jungle Book and Jurassic Park were also awesome.

PC
Curse of Monkey Island
-Another brain-exploder. A cartoon game without 'gameplay' so much as story, puzzles and jokes. What! My concept of 'video games' was being rewritten, and I found myself in love with comedy. Around this time, my dad started to show me old Marx Brothers movies, and slapstick movies.

Gameboy Color
Pokemon Red
-Admittedly, the first time I played this was a ROM, but I got an after-school job and bought myself a GBC to play it, as well as Pokemon Silver.

Gameboy Advance
Megaman.EXE Battle Network
-Tough call. Played a LOT of GBA games. This one sticks out.

PSX
Metal Gear Solid
-Brain exploded, yet again. Narrative-focused non-action action game. I can't even.
-Also introduced me to the Final Fantasy series, which I have loved since and retroactively sought out older FFs prior to 7.

Sega Dreamcast
Shenmue
-A story-focused action game, with a huge emphasis on day-to-day life in a small town. Something I had never thought possible, or considered for that matter, in a video game.
-This is also my favourite console, so the list is very long. We'd be here all day.

PS2
Onimusha 2
-Loved the style of this game, as well as the story.

Xbox
Shenmue 2
-Bought the console FOR this game. Reasons, obvious.

Gamecube
Smash Bros. Brawl(?)
-We played a lot of this game. Mario Sunshine is about the only other game that got any playtime. Waste of a console.

Xbox 360
Whatever Halo was this gen.
-Not an xboxer. Wasn't a fan of this console. Got it for university friends to play Halo-whatever on.

DS
uh...yeah...

PS3
LittleBigPlanet
-Spent at least a year playing it, bought all the stupid costumes and sticker packs. Then LBP2 ruined it. The hype and community had died out. No one but young'uns were playing, and that's just no fun.

3DS
um...
Played a lot of games on it... can't remember a single one that stood out.

PSP
Metal Gear AC!D 1&2
-Non-canon of my favourite series, as a tactical card-based stealth action game. It shouldn't be fun, but it SO is.
-Played a lot of PSP. This was around when I was a trucker, and it was my go-to gaming console during breaks.

PS4
Nothing really stands out.
Again, played a lot of games on it, and... just eh. Gaming has become a bit boring. Even Metal Gear Solid was crap. I guess Grand Theft Auto V? But, I didn't finish it. So whatever.

PSVita
Day of the Tentacle HD
-Despite my love of Monkey Island, Loom and a CD-R Sherlock Holmes game, I had no 'interest' in looking up the other classic adventure games. Then I played Day of the Tentacle HD. Wow, what a trip. It even had an in-game emulation of the original Maniac Mansion. Since playing both of those, I have been seeking out adventure games on my phone or where I can. There're other Vita games, but most of them suck. Like cheap knock-off spin-offs to cash in. Nothing very great.

Xbox One (S)
Stardew Valley (ha!)
-Late to the game, always wanted to play it. Now it's my life. GF got the xbox for herself, as I had no interest. Oh how the tables do turn. Despite myself, I have to admit that Xbox One S is among my favourite consoles. How twisted is this world becoming? NOOOOOOOOOOOO...

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

Stardew Valley is kind of my life right now. I'm playing as Dude from the original pre-internet RPGMaker95+ Dude's Adventure series. His farm is on a wetland or something, and I just got to the desert dungeon. First time playing the game. Pretty far (I think?) and nearly finished the community centre.
Oh, also about 5 girlfriends atm. I'm a who-re.
