Everyone stops throwing food, almost immediately. Food even stops flying through the air to stop and gaze -- nay -- gawk, as Parmesan whips out her bazookas. For everyone to see. Alongside a helping of attention calling from Parmesan, herself.
The cafeteria is in silence. A sudden flash of light indicates that Stodgy Squirrel just got his centerfold picture for the school yearbook.
Across the cafeteria, Baka Gaijin, locked in a lip battle with Marla opens one eye to see why everything went quiet. Only to see the glorious parmesans.
Baka can no longer take it. A fountain of noseblood streams from their portholes, drenching Marla in the process, which sends Baka rocketing out of the cafe---through the roof.
An eruption of laughter rings out, which lasts for some while.

In the end, Baka Gaijin spends the rest of year known as Baka "Bloody Monday" Gaijin.

Delsin 7 / Rosa
With all the change in atmosphere, Rosa lets fly her potato to recommence the food fight, but she misses Stodgy Squirrel (her intended target) and manages to bean Marla square in the bloodsoaked head.

Because all the students were involved with the food fight, the principal decides to suspend everyone two days! Which is perfect, because tomorrow is the beach party.
Baka Gaijin and Marla arrive together. And find that Parmesan and Dominic are already playing volleyball and enjoying themselves with a lot of other popular kids. Parmesan's popularity, especially with the boys, skyrocketed the day before.
Rosa and her new friend Bianca, and her new boyfriend Yukio are hanging out away from the crowd. Because they don't want to be there anyway...
And lastly, Asudem is sleeping under an umbrella. Beside her, a stone-looking statue of Stodgy Squirrel is attempting to grab something unmentionable. Asudem appears smug.
The evening is spent with laughs, beachball and a little swimming. Everyone had a good time.

Meanwhile, not far down the beach...
A cliff, beaten by years of waves. The darkness of a cave quivers beneath the glint of a torch. An ominous chanting wafts through the air. Purple spindles of energy swirl into a pool of iridescent light. A young hooded boy is ushered forward. The boy struggles to escape.
Slimy tendrils reach out from the abyss and grab him.
Chanting increases.
The boy is taken.

Only Baka responds to Marla's question, as Parmesan is preoccupied with something else. Baka's eyes widen slightly at playing hooky on his first day, but the wild idea certainly seems to appeal to him.
"W-what should we do?" Baka says in a low voice, "W-where would we go?"

Chears / Parmesan
As Parmesan cries over Grandma, she falls to her knees. Just as a handful of muck flies through the space that her head would be. Through pure dismay, she avoids being hit by 'fud'.

Delsin / Rosa
Rosa and Bianca let fly several handfuls of fud, most of which land in the faces of random students. However, one 'fud' hits Yukio straight in the face.
A squirrelly boy sitting near Yukio stands up and points animatedly. After a spluttering moment of hesitation, the squirrelly boy shouts, "FOOD FIGHT!"

On cue, the students in the cafeteria begin throwing food at one another. Carnage erupts instantaneously. As if the students had been waiting with baited breath to join in.

Along the way through the cafeteria, heading towards the serving counter, Marla 'discovers' (with help from Parmesan) several items that people had the nerve to leave outside their backpacks.

As if on command, Bianca arrives behind the lunch lady. Overturning a boiling vat of tomorrow's Vegan Sloppy Joe so that it lands square on the lunch lady's head. Boiling faux ground beef tofu and tomato sauce smothers the old lady in what would have been a screaming fit of agony. Instead, it resulted in a gurgling fit of agony.
The way is clear to leave the kitchen! And what time, too!
Just now, Yukio (arriving late, of course) walks through the cafeteria door! The ambush of humiliation and love can commence!
Bianca levies a handful of 'fud' and nods firmly at Rosa.

I was born this way. My mom didn't even get to name me. It was already on the paperwork when they processed my newborn ass.

I have this scene in mind where a cat is going to drive a motorboat, and his human is in the back futzing with fishing tackle.
The image of a cat paw batting at ignition keys for a few comic panels, then the paw reaching for the throttle.
Then the boat rams backward into a dock, causing people to leap out of the way into the water.
The human falling over and being like, "Do you even know how to drive this!?"
The cat going, "haha nope," puts on sunglasses and jets forward at full throttle across the lake.
