God help me. I don't think I could realease anything for this event that won't be full of placeholders and graphical inconsistencies. Can I change my game engine at the last minute? I DO have a backup.
It's called release something weekend for a reason. IMO, as long as it doesn't interfere with you releasing something, go ahead and do it.
Why does great looking indie games get cancelled?
Actually, I'm pretty sure Sagawind is still slowly being worked on. I was even watching a livestream of Ashen playing around with it a few months ago.
