Ka ha ha. Yeah, I know what it's like to have to go back and do alot of editing on the story. I had re-done Dragon Fantasy's for like...3 times! And that's for an NES replica game! :M
And yeah, some maps are a tad repetitive to work on, while others are quite fun! I like doin' caves, the World Map, and castles (to a degree). I hate towns and forests. x_x
And RTP! YES! Glad to see some more use of RTP-ish graphics! It REALLY seems to suit the game well! Now, I know that there are a few edits, but I can still point out the RTP bits (are they? o.o) But it's all great none-the-less.
I hope things work out for you in RL, and that you manage t pull through and complete this in the future! The best of luck to you!

The Blog Topic.
Oh? A new Blog has been posted up, I see! Well then, I guess I'll have to make a dart over to check it out now when I'm finished making this post! (Which could take a while. I'm just adding random things in here as I come to think on them). Ahem.
Oh yes! And the videos I sent in for both Dragon Fantasy and Dragon Fantasy II have all been accpeted. I'll probably have more up in the future, but nothing else is gonna come from me any time soon. :P
Dragon Fantasy....well, I wouldn't rely TOO much one the videos to give you a fair example of what the game may be like (well...maybe the Mountain Tower video, but that's about it.) You see, I was working on-and-off on the game during the creation of the videos, and I would take them at random intervals (go back through the game and beat a boss when I felt like it, etc) so alot of things changed during that time. You can even see in in some of the videos, sure! I ended up making it different than any of the videos look, though. Ha ha. Maybe I'll go back and make some more in the future. =|
And the Dragon Fantasy II videos are all on bosses! Yay. They're the best kind of video for me to do, I find. These ones (unlike the DF ones) are a much better example of what the game may be like (barring a few differences like class changes, etc.) I'll have to put up some random exploration videos in the future too, I suppose.

Huh? Ha ha.When you're talking about the carpet, I have not the sweetest clue what you're referring to! Do you mean the...white stuff beneath the 3rd waterfall? (I count from Left-to-right, so the 3rd would the the right-most one!) And SOME work? It needs (as you said0 ALOT of work! But it's the best I could do for it. Besides, it was just a random map for fun, and it isn't bein' used in any project of mine. I guess I just wanted to fool around with the RTP abit.(But I'll still try and do better next time!)
I still don't think the map is TOO nonsensicle, though. Well, besides the bed and stuff up top, but that's only a minor thing! (That and the random pieces of rock; Ice, normal, fire...etc.)

I thought I see something by you floating around a while back, but I can't recall seeing anything recently (That, or I just haven't looked. :M) He he. But it's good news to know that you're starting back up in the development of it! I'll definitly try and play the new demo when it is done.
Also, getting feedback IS a good motivator, isn't it? When I read something good about my game (I don't really know about you >_>), I always get this strange sensation of wanting to work on it a bit more. You know, just to get something else out so I can get MORE responses! It makes you feel good, too, knowing that someone has actually taken the time to play and comment on your game.
I shall be the 6th subscriber! Hooplah!
