Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy

This has got to be by-far THE most updated game I've ever seen. At least that shows the Creator has enough care for his creation and fans to keep on improving and never REALLY settle for what's there. Granted, with a game THIS popular... why not? And it's free, to boot!

Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy

I was browsing through a few ROMs and decided to play Final Fantasy IV; instead I ended up being overcome with a strong urge to go back to this game.

Had to check back here though and make sure there were no big updates that I'd missed. I was going to do a simple transfer of this project from my old laptop to my current, but decided to go ahead and just copy the save file while downloading the entire thing again.

It's amazing how even an RPG Maker game can have such an effect on me... Way to go, UPRC! That's the sign of a great piece of work.

And you thought the mobile port of FFVI was bad...

I take it that some individual sits behind a desk and schemes various different and "unique" ways to swindle people out of their money with no concern regarding the effect on the product whatsoever. Countless IOS exclusives and ports just make me PHYSICALLY face-palm due to how outrageous most of them are; the money they expect or intend for their customers to invest in their games are ridiculous! How is something like this popular in the LEAST? Do people not care about their money to such an extent that they'd waste it on something as insignificant as an extra life or some virtual currency or points every ten minutes? Ugh.

Weapon Attributes

It would indeed be formidable against such creatures were that type present in the game. Monsters categorized as "Animal" or "Flying" will instead find weapons like scythes, daggers and swords to be their weakness.

The player will also have to assess the situation via the monster's appearance; if it's covered in armor or scales, it's unlikely a dagger or sword will do any meaningful damage. Skeletons resist swords because it may pass trough the gaps between bones, however an axe or mace would make quick work of them. Books also have a tendancy to work wonders on magical or reanimated foes simply because of their mystical properties.

You won't have to worry about this system playing a big part in the beginning portion of the game, but it will start to force its self into the fray after the events in Borez. Don't worry, that's plenty of time to get used to things.

Weapon Attributes

The dungeon/area affects the primary type of enemy you'll be facing, but their secondary type may differ slightly. For example a forest would pit you against a lot of "Animal" type enemies, but they may be "Animal-Fying," "Animal-Shelled," etc.

Back from the past with a new face (upgrades happen :P)

I think I vaaaaaaaaaaaaaguely remember you. Regardless, welcome to RMN and I hope you have an awesome time amongst the fantastic people here!

It is a little off, isn't it? But it's what came in the chipset, and because neither of us are really graphical editors of any kind we just made due with what we (or I, rather) could find. Granted, I've managed to go back and fix several minor things in other maps, so you never know what may happen in the future.

@UPRC and Pizza: Yeah, it was fairly hectic here in the city; people should have stocked up on supplies where they were told DAYS IN ADVANCE that not only was a storm coming, but that there was a high probability that the electricity would also go. There were more people on the roads then than any clear, sunny day for God's sake!

And in regards to Milia's side of the story... I'd say that if you didn't really like Jude's side, then Milia's is going to leave an even more sour taste in your mouth. It's much more sparse on any real interesting story details, and the portion after she
dies
is SO BORING. I just think that Jude's portion gave a clearer picture of the full story and included the more interesting bits of character interaction, etc.

I absolutely LOVED Ni No Kuni. It is perhaps one of the greatest JRPG's that I've played in a very long time, and was a breath of fresh air after dredging through all of the other games I played beforehand. It has amazing style, a fantastic atmosphere, and is overflowing with charm. However you cannot go in expecting a life-like or realistic story; it takes the storybook/fairy tail approach to things, and everything is FAR more enjoyable once this is realized. Granted, the AI is pretty terrible (for your party members) and the menus can be a hassle to get through at times, but every game has its flaws.

EDIT: Sorry about that! My phone freaked out and I ended up posting the same message twice.
