Higher Difficulty? Insane, Lunatic, etc.
After thinking about it for a while, I think I AM going to do something a little more with this project in the future, but it's going to be FAR into the future. Once DF Remade is completed I will look back and perhaps offer a new difficulty level for those who may be interested (complete with new enemy AI and skillsets, etc.) but said people are probably sick of this game for now. Hahaha. =P
Slow Roll...
Good news, everyone! I have finally come into possession of a brand-spankin'-new laptop and am ready and rearin' to do some RPG Makin'! But first I have to transfer over a few files and folders, etc. It shouldn't be too long more before progress on this project resumes as normal!
Post an insane lie about the person above you
Slow Roll...
And I've done just that, good sir! In multiple ways, actually: Corfaisus has a copy of the project and soon the entire script thus far; both are also backed up on a USB drive.
Slow Roll...
Currently I'm adding detail to the towns, dungeons, etc. such as animals, smoke and lightning/extra effects via pictures and the like. I was sick and feeling pretty terrible for the last week and a bit, so sadly I haven't written much since the last thing I've sent you.
I do think that sending the project to you would be a good idea though JUST IN CASE. You can never be too cautious when it comes to stuff like this! I'd rather have all of the work we've made be preserved rather than instantly get erased. Mind you I HAVE transferred the important files (script, map folders, the actual game, etc.) to a USB drive, but knowing my luck with these things it's entirely possible that I could lose it as I have the other two I had.
Due to the way we're doing things in terms of handling and importing the maps you've made into the main project, the teleportation events you made simply act as a guide. I have to make them again due to them being completely screwed over if the maps and all of their events are simply copy and pasted. It's because your Map 065 might be completely different than mine.
I'll just upload what I have so far and send it your way!
Also, I have all of what I want to happen in the story written down, but it's execution may vary greatly from the vague notes I've left myself. The farthest I've written is the latest snippet I sent your way that takes place in the Abandoned Mines.

I'd definitely have to change a lot of the enemy attack patterns and the like, but improved stats would also mean that players would (should) rely more on status ailments and buffs. That was the primary gripe I had with the original game: I made it too easy, so it was entirely possible to ignore spells like Sleep, Blind, etc. which I wanted to (... but didn't, for some reason?) make useful.

You'd probably be the ONLY one hahaha. Granted, I'd still have to make the enemies at the VERY BEGINNING of the game relatively weak to give the players some kind of a chance. Then when they cross the bridge to Orul the difficulty would sky-rocket.
Progression List
I've added a new tab to the Game Page titled "World Creation Mythos." It's a brief run-down of the events that transpired to bring Tsufanubra and its people into existence. Like a little world history? Then check it out!
Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy
Just got Nobumasa! Loving it so far. Although I'm SURE I stumbled upon a chest in that cave section just before obtaining him wherein I thought I received a "Mining Axe" or something similar, but when I checked my inventory nothing was there?
