Black Sigil for the DS -- it's like FF6 and CT had a baby
The story and characters kinda look like something a Japanese fanboy would come up with, though that isn't really a problem for me. The graphics do indeed look pretty kick ass.
If/When someone here gets it post and say if it's good or not. I wouldn't really bother too much with professional reveiws with a game like this other than to learn more about it.

Hero's Realm v1.5
You've probably heard it so many times by now, but I don't suppose it will get old - this really is awesome. I've only managed to play through the first chapter so far.. infact, I walked out of Easgate (did I get that right.. >.>), the second chapter began and I quit. I'll surely continue on with the story in good time but at the moment I'm just not ready to move past the first chapted. lol
What's your plans?

If it's like other Street Fighters, Ken is quicker and meant to be played more aggressively than Ryu. I typically chose Ken over Ryu in the past for that reason.
I'm very disappointed to hear Vega was made into shit. Guess I'll just save my money and continue playing SFA3~
Oh, I'd totally play SF4 regardless of what they did to Vega even though it does make me not happy. I just don't really have the means to play it.

No. That's quite not true. I do have problems with being pretty insensitive, to my own problems and people I know. So I don't really cry for those kinds of reasons. But like those wacky folks suppressing emotions, a commercial on tv might stir my emotions and make me want to cry. Like those damn waramps commercials!

This is the topic where we bitch about video game art, okay guys?
You can't please everyone and you shouldn't even bother trying. Even though I'm new to this, really inexperienced and have nothing to show, I'm completely with kentona; what I'm working to make will be to please myself, if it ever gets finished. There seems to be several topics here with discussion about alienating certain audiences from your games. I say screw that line of thinking. Make something that you yourself like, that you feel shows your strengths and personality and hopefully someone out there will like it too. If professional developers only tried to make games that please everyone, the only RPGs we'd likely see are FF, DQ and clones of them.
Though, I'm not suggesting completely ignoring others opinions on your work. If something in your game continually presents a problem for alot of people, it might not be a bad idea to make some changes, but only if the changes you make still fall within your vision of what you wanted to create. Or something. I dunno.

As far as art goes, for the most part I really don't care about what artistic direction people want to take with their projects. At least, usually not in a negative sense. If I find something visually appealing I might be more interested in playing it, but if people say something is good and I think it looks like ass I'd still be open to trying it. Really, whats the worst that can happen if I do? I find out I don't like it and wasted a little time downloading it? The only thing that would really stop me from trying something is limitations of free time I have imposed by my life.
I'm working on something right now that I'm trying to create my own graphics for. I'm pretty sure the designs for my characters will turn some people off. Whatever, you know? No pleasing everyone.

Does Anyone Not Finish Games They Purchase?
Yeah, I have tons of games that I haven't finished or even really played yet. I've kinda stopped buying games because I don't even really play alot of the ones I currently own.

Street Fighter is my favorite video game series ever. I do not own a 360/PS3 so I cannot currently play it, but if there was one game that could get me really interested in buying one this would be it. Just don't really have the money to spare right now.
I've read people saying that they made my favorite character, Vega, one of the worst characters this time around? If thats true, I'm disappointed. Haven't heard people ay much about my other favorite, M. Bison. Maybe it's because everyone is apparently playing as Ken?
