Play Something! Day III [February 4th, 2009]
I'd like to say I'm in then, but don't really want to promise anything. Reliability and I don't see eye to eye all the time, plus there's all sorts of like academic pursuits that could make me busy. If my good intentions amount to anything it'll show up February 4th. :)

So if I understand this correctly, if I were to participate in this I would play whatever I wanted to from this site, write about it/them and post it on February 4th..?

You know! Like David Bowie during the Ziggy Stardust years (or Jareth or well, just in general I guess) or Annie Lennox. The whole image of a person somewhere in between the commonly accepted appearances based on gender just fascinates me~

I think you did a pretty good job on the bodies in all the drawings and your crisp hatching looks rather pleasing to me. Also, the designs look accurate. The placement of the characters facial features in both works is a little off though. Loks abit too smooshed in the center. Try placing the nose a little below the eyes and the mouth somewhere below the nose. Otherwise looks good!
Any Mature/Adult RPG Games?
Realism , maturity.. these are words that sap the imagination right out of any medium! With that goes fun! The innocence and naivity we possess as a child can never really return but I enjoy playing things meant for people who still haven't lost that. Truth be told I don't really want to grow up because things are much more fun looking at things from a childlike perspective. Imagine a game where you went to work and then had to stretch your limited resources and finances for your money and and and...
Anywho not really sure where all that was leading to, but I do have a question. If you find "mature" themes more appealing or only "mature" themes appealing what exactly is wrong with something that doesn't have them?
And nah, GTA and God of War aren't really mature. They have themes that might be considered inappropriate for an audience that isn't mature but they still deal with their subjects pretty immaturely.

Oh, I totally agree with what both of you are saying and I'm not so much as concerned about completeing anything with custom or RTP right now but learning the program. Which I'm pretty much doing or attempting with the RTP. But I also enjoy drawing things and tinkering around in MS Paint (or is it just Paint these days?) so I'm just playing around and I'll worry about using what I make if I can later. But thank you!

Sup, you seem like a pretty cool person. Where yah from? Oh and going custom(The term you were looking for I think) isn't always the best solution, especially for something your new to.

Welcome to RMN! Like Tau said it's best to learn using the basic RTP resources, and then use custom stuff in a serious effort later. Otherwise you tend to get frustrated and give up.

Hi hey ho how's it going? I'm new. :D
(I read the introduction rules so I know I'm not supposed to do just that, but it's my first day!)
Seriously guess I should write a whole shizazz about myself. I'm new to this entire RPGmaker thang and am currently trying to figure out how to work these programs. I'm a darling like that~ Besides that I'm also complicating things by trying to make my own resources..errr graphics if that fancy talk doesn't mean what I imagine it should.. which is not only time consuming but also confusing because I'm not sure how the rpgmaker programs work. :D
My interests include but are not limited to guitars, androgyny, mirrors, Freddie Mercury's unitard, turtles, rain, glitter, sunglasses, cursing old man winter, exercise, posing, dreaming,lurking, ADD, um.. where was I going with this again? I like stuff!
I've played some of your guy's games a little (lurking was an interest of mine up until recently) but I don't think I've finished anything yet. Time's an unforgiving mistress you know how it is. Never have as much of it as you want.
