EUPHORIAN'S PROFILE

I never got over my ex, who broke up with me in February, supposedly because she was going to have to move out of state soon, and then some things changed, and she didn't, but we haven't talked since then. However, I owe her a valentine's present- I never got a chance to give the necklace I made for her to her, so, the next time I see her- in nineteen days (first time since January), it should be interesting.

I've been hiding the necklace from my mom for six months, despite her prying all over my room for it- she wants me to give it to my great grandma, who's going to die any day, and so I said fuck that shit and pretended to have lost it.

Why it should be made into a movie? It shouldn't. For a number of reasons, including it was never a particularly exciting relationship (We've never kissed or fought or anything really) and both of us would probably die from embarrassment of some kind. o.o

From what I understand lots of indie games/programs are written in Visual Basic, because it's, um, basic and easy to use. Also, I hear there's a Microsoft product now that operates a VB studio or something like that. I'm unclear on the details, but I hear it's a useful tool no doubt.

Hah, I actually like scripting out NPCs. Though, I have a problem in which many of them sometimes have better defined personality than my main characters. >.> It really isn't hard for me to find something for them to say, and I don't think I've ever done the "Welcome to LOLville" or "Did you know? On the menu you can..."

What I'm actually trying to do is have some of them develop through the course of the story as well, and thereby affect the player. For instance, in one town there's a seemingly insignificant waitress serving a couple drunk crewmen for a transport ship. If you talk to her she says something like "It would help I actually knew anything about wine..." and then goes back to staring at the wine cabinet idly. Boring right? However, later, after the player hijacks said ship, if you return to the town and talk to the old lady there, who, before, only complained about how much the crewmen eat, she now tells you that royal guards were dispatched to interrogate them on the disappearance of the ship, and that she was seized for further questioning. Set up for side-quest, yesyes.

Basically, attempting to show the events of the story affecting their lives in a way that makes them do more than complain about the meteor that crashed in to Rofl City down the road and how they're scared. And in turn have that affect the player.

And Euphorian, maybe it's just me, but your desktop icons look rather large to me (not in numbers). Try holding CTRL+SHIFT and scrolling your mousewheel. As long as you actually have Vista (and not just a skin to look like vista) then that will shrink and enlarge icons :)

I would, and I do have Vista, but what I don't have is a mousewheel. Or a mouse. My touch-pad got shocked by a new hyper-powered computer charger, so I had to disable some malfunctioning features of it, and now most of the time I use my tablet as a mouse.


Also, damn guys, all my wallpapers are anime. XD

Feldschlacht- For the most part, looks good, but the roof in the top right looks like it's all over the place. Judging by its spine.... it defies physics, I think. o.o
Or I'm missing something, that's possible too.
