Walkthroughs

Actually, I was considering writing a walk through for my game, or at least a certain (100 map) dungeon in the middle of it, because so many people get stuck around there (among other places), plus secret things and such.
I've seen other RM games with walkthroughs, but I never really knew what the community thought about such things.

Phase Focused Tactics Gaemz

Fire Emblem and Tactics Ogre for the win.

FE7 (Lyn/Eliwood/Hector) is my favorite, by far. I've played through it too many times.
FE8 (Eirika/Ephraim) is decent, but didn't have the same appeal as 7, because of the added random encounters. I kinda liked obsessing over perfect exp distribution in 7. 8 killed that.
FE9 (for gamecube, with Ike) seemed... Okay? I never finished it, not because I got stuck, it just wasn't fun enough to keep me coming back. I honestly don't know why.
FE6 (Roy) I played on a Rom, with a patch, and it's pretty much the same as FE7, without a few features. I'm near the end of it, but stuck on Zephiel. ;-;

Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis (GBA)... Was basically amazing. There are a lot of influences on damage and things that are ignorable, but if you take the time to actually think about it, it's a lot better for you. There are tons of weapons and armor things, a quest mode for treasure, multiple endings, and a very awesome secret character<3. C'est tres awesome.
I tried to play Ogre Battle 64, but there was ROMfail.

Advanced Wars seems decent, but I never could get into them as much.
FFTA just hurt me.

Also, Luminous Arc for DS was very enjoyable. Not quite as addicting (ussually) to me as FE or TO, but still worth a purchase, I think. Too bad my friends stole it from me. ._.

Super Smash Bros. Melee vs Brawl.

I prefer Melee, only because I'm much more used to it, but Brawl probably is better in the end. Marth and Sheik (my main two in Melee) are so much worse in Brawl that it hurts me. UGH THE SLOWNESS.
Also, I can barely tell where my character is in Brawl. It seems like everything is a lot smaller and more crowded all the time. And Brawl's gravity is more realistic. Which I don't like. ;-;

Favourite Comedies?

South Park, and That 70's show, even if it ended. ._.

Also, I've been to South Park. The actual town, that is. It's not really a town. More like four abandoned buildings at an intersection, and a concrete barrier.

Release Something! Day Discussion thread

Awesome.

I get the feeling that I'm the only one who's going to release early after all, so maybe it would be best just to rename these two threads to take out the Early part (when the time comes). ._.

Best Boss Fights

Lunar SSSC/Legend- The Black Dragon battle. In spite of barely remembering it since it's been so long since I played, I remember it was quite the situation. Maybe not epic, but something close.

Tales of Symphonia- First half of the final battle. I loved how they were actually arguing during in the fight.

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story- the second battle against Ureksa. I don't know why, but this somehow got over-glorified in my head, possibly just 'cause of what he did after the battle. ._.

Breath of Fire II- Battle against Ray/Gander/Thatotheroldbishopguy. I don't really remember the situation here either, I just remember those three St.Eva battles were pretty interesting.

Golden Sun- Satros Battle on Mercury Lighthouse/Karst & Agatio on Jupiter- I honestly can't think of a good reason, other than I'd feel bad for leaving them out. The Fusion/Doom dragon battles were more epic, but didn't have the same effect as fighting the actual people.

Release Something! Day [FOR REALZ this time]

O.o
Huh, okay, well, here it be.

Click the here.

Name of the game is Second Reality: Reflections. This one goes through the end of chapter 3, approximately 4-6 hours depending on how fast you play/how much extra stuff you get. Platform is 2003.
2k3 fonts are at the link above too, if they're needed. No RTP or 2k3 install required.

And, as always, my disclaimer-

Scareenz:

Also, there's an IRC channel for it I ussually try to be on for support. #SRR on irc.whahay.net, or http://www.woadev.com/sr/chat/

Not new, but want to introduce myself

See, that makes sense. It actually looks better when it's centered, I think. Only reason I don't do it? Too much effort for not enough return.

Also, welcome, I guess.

How much time?

Depends on my motivation. Or whatever's going on. I've been in beta for two months, so I haven't really been able to do a lot.
When school was in and I was still actively working on it, the average was probably around 2-3 hours everyday. I would phase in and out of motivation, so the actualy work time ranged from 0-7 hours on a weeknight.

As for the weekends that I do stuff on, it's pretty much everything. I made a pretty complex 70 map dungeon over one weekend. Probably about 30 hours total. Wake up early, work on it every minute, go to sleep around 3 in the morning. Six hours later, repeat.

Yeah, I'm pretty obsessive sometimes. I still sleep way too much. Six hours.... Needs to be two.

[EVERYONE READ] Posting, and the Main Site.

They'd better be out in the snow. >.<

Summer gives people a sense of freedom. Freedom brings a 'I'll do whatever whenever' attitude. And that brings laziness. Even with things about posting.
That's part of the inherent problem anyway.
